Wishing you a joyful New Year. I remember every detail of shooting this scene at Lake Herbert in Canada near the entrance to the Icefields Parkway. No one was there but me. It was so quiet and peaceful watching the sunrise. I wish you that same feeling of serenity for the coming year.
The cloud and its reflections frame the reflections of the nearby coast and the iceberg remnant adding more beauty to the tranquility and serenity of a pristine setting in eastern Greenland.
Después de casi veinte dias con un serio problema de salud que me ha impedido el normal seguimiento de vuestras fotografías y vuestros comentarios, de nuevo por aquí con fuerza renovada y con el suficiente ánimo como para poder compartir esta imagen, cuyo título expresa lo que siento al verme otra vez en casa....Espero en estos próximos dias, poder volver a coger el habitual ritmo de trabajo, al que ya estaba acostumbrado.

After almost twenty days with a serious health problem that has prevented me from following up on your photos and your comments, here I am again with renewed strength and with enough encouragement to be able to share this image, whose title expresses what I feel seeing me back home.... I hope in these next few days, to be able to return to the usual rhythm of work, to which I was already accustomed.

During a snowfall, I sometimes drive to a few places and catch some fence magic. This stretch is along a busy road that has ramps to the 403 highway. There are some gravel pits and some nice character fences.
If you zoom in you can see the falling snow.

A solitary Tricolored Heron making it’s way in the 10,000 Islands Florida. The beautiful sunrise and the lone stick add to the serenity. The cloud lifted and the sun shone.
