Keep hoping a mate would turn up for him but he's been on his own on my local lake for the past 3 years.
An image taken on an early morning visit down on Coniston Water in the Lake District as the Sun began to make its appearance and cast its golden light over the misty laden landscape. Hope you all have an enjoyable weekend ahead.
This spot is a popular place for photographers to shoot Mt Fuji at dusk.
However, on the serene evening like this day, it will be a great place for lovers as well.
A beautiful, calm sea at dawn on the Kenepuru Sound, Marlborough, New Zealand. If I could put it in a bottle I'd make a fortune ..... thankfully I can't.
I love the serenity surroundings and wonderful views beckoning from my parents’ backyard when I got up in the morning.

The sun catches the trees and waking birds on the Thames River near Chatham, Ontario. Did you notice the flock of birds near the top of the frame?
The next sunrise shot of my stay at a Pangkor Island resort (Strait of Malacca). (N.B. the first sunrise shot -- 4 pics back - has more detail on these resorts). :-)
The photo has captured a "serenity sunrise". This is because when a place, or your state of mind, is peaceful, quiet and serene, it is tranquil: like a pond with no ripples ~ calm and placid. :-)
I quickly felt this soon after a day of relaxing, sleeping in my sea vila and hearing the waves lapping, some finger-lickin meals, a few laps of the 52 metre lap pool, walking around, and basking in the warm sun on a beach chair.
Now back in Australia and enjoying the Xmas break, I have fond memories of this place. I look forward to my next time at a SE Asian coastal resort.
