REinvented Alannah Hill sequinned Bolero using a blouse to make it bigger and a rag rose to hold it together.
I love my new sequined Converse! I definitely think I will wear these until they fall apart. They are the absolute perfect Converse. I have them in red sequin too.

My self-designed Bucilla-style Christmas tree Christmas tree ornament went out to the holly tree out front today for its stylish, seasonal photo shoot.

When it comes to things that sparkle & shine I’m a total magpie. I’m a sucker for glitzy sequins & flamboyant beading.
This is a really gorgeous vintage knitted sequin & bead dress, it was given to me by my boss & originally belonged to his friend who used to be a performer here in London!
I’m actually wearing it back to front in these pictures… I think that teamed with a tank or sheer top underneath it looks daring yet rather sassy too, perfect for a night of frivolous fun in a rock club.
I’ve added a fetish collar to give the outfit that edgy ‘Torture Garden’ slant!

The very first time I saw Barbie in “Solo in the spotlight “I have a strong feeling that Mattel intended the gown to be sequined. In order to celebrate her 50th birthday, I made this gown with a strong influence from another version of this dress “Stunning in the spotlight”.
The dress was actually a column dress with netting flounce, fully lined with back zip closing. Since the gown was 100% hand sewn , the sequins had made sewing almost impossible, I had to remove all the sequins from the seams before sewing in order to let the needle past through the fabric. Moreover, due to the semi transparent nature of the sequined fabric I had to add another layer of lining or else Barbie’s undies will show through!! I guess the end result worth everything.

Looking down into a small glass jar containing a spool of tacking thread, a needle and a tape measure...plus a stray sequin!
An attractive young woman travelling on a train during the annual ‘Santacon’ walk.
Described on the Facebook page as a “a non-profit, non-corporate, non-commercial and non-sensical parade of festive cheer.”, the annual walk (which is actually five routes converging on central London) is also a rather loud and raucous pub crawl, sees hundreds of revellers don Santa Claus, reindeer and elf costumes before parading through the streets toward central London where there is an after parade party.
The majority of the Santæ are reasonably well behaved, although as with any large event there are always a few that joint the ‘naughty list’ by downing a bit too much festive cheer and mulled wine.
