This awesome, one of a kind, 1980's silk blouse is covered in detailed sequins and beads.
Pink iridescent sequins cover this 100% pure silk blouse. Accenting the padded shoulders are feather patterns of silver sequins outlined in black beads. The back of the blouse attaches with a silver hook.
The blouse also is shorter in the front to create a bare your midriff look. The blouse sleeves are ruched with a silver beading down the middle of both sleeves. The inside of the blouse is lined with 100% rayon lining and was made in India.

We purchased the leotards. Flowers were sequinned and attached at various spots along the top and down one side to flow into the motif on the detachable beeswax handkerchief skirt. Bugle and seed beads were hung from a gorgeous purple coloured cupped sequin for movement. Spaghetti straps were also sequinned.
The necklace is just sequinned fabric crossed at the front with a press stud.
The butterfly bracelet was inspired from a Hollywood forties photo I saw in a library book. It is just thick elastic (sequinned). The butterfly is made with paper mache and heavy duty fishing wire was used for the antennas. Bugle beads were secured to the fishing line with glue and the line stitched onto the elastic.
This is actually the second version of this outfit. The first version was similar, but the lycra was not good and couldn't withstand the rigours of washing and reuse.
