A different view from the front, as opposed to the other image that I posted earlier, whereby I was taking the image behind the waterfall.
Taken with the Samyang 14mm F2.8. I continue to be impressed with this inexpensive lens.

Seljalandsfoss waterfall is one of the most spectacular natural wonders in Iceland It is a beautiful waterfall, and it also has an amazing quality that people love. It is a place where you can experience something amazing and a place where your childhood dream can come through. At the same time, it is a beautiful, mystical, and exciting place. It is much more than a waterfall to stand in front of and look at, and for all those reasons, Seljalandsfoss is probably the most favorite and feel-good tourist destination in Iceland.

Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall in the South Region of Iceland. The waterfall drops 60 m (197 ft) and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. Visitors can walk behind the falls into a small cave where there is a second waterfall. I didn't take the walk behind the waterfall because I wasn't wearing waterproof clothing and nor was my camera. Together we made an executive decision to stay dry on the day.

A waterfall with a 60 m (197 ft) drop., mid-way between Reykjavik and Vik on the southern coast of Iceland.
The grotto behind the waterfall is accessible in warmer weather and is noted for the photographs that have been taken there. However, when I visited, the weather was below freezing and negotiating the land/ice was a bit treacherous. Better safe than sorry.

A sunset capture of Seljalandsfoss from the top of the ground level observation deck. This climb required the use ice cleats as the stairs and railings were completely covered in ice.
Seljalandsfoss, an impressive waterfall in southern Iceland that drops ~60 metres. It is part of the Seljalands River fed by the nearby Eyjafjallajökull ice cap. This shot was taken out of a cave behind the waterfall.

My one beautiful sunset during this trip was here at Seljalandsfoss; like so many of Iceland’s scenic wonders, it is a view that is very easy to reach. Capturing images of this view even in good weather can still be a challenge. This is one of three images of this waterfall that I will be adding to my website. The challenge shooting this image was attempting to prevent spray from the falls hitting the lens. Having a lens cloth available is very necessary. There are a few smaller waterfalls that cascade over the edge of the lush mossy green cliffs that extend from east to west. A campground is located at the west end, where I spent a short night between sunset and sunrise. The people of Iceland appear to do every single thing right, including the pristine campgrounds. So many of the campgrounds even though located in some unexpected off-road locations, feature showers and clean flush toilets…So impressive!
