This waterfall of the river Seljalandsá drops 60 metres (200 ft) over the cliffs of the former coastline. It is possible to go behind the waterfall.
Another shot of this photogenic waterfall, this time from behind. No rainbow, but still a pretty nice view.
A short climb provides a slightly different view of this waterfall. Here is Seljalandsfoss in all her glory.
Fun cascade that lets you interact with it, you can walk to the back of it, pretty hard to make photos since there is mist everywhere, but still a great cool waterfall.
Located in the South Region in Iceland right by Route 1, Seljalandsfoss is one of the best known waterfalls in Iceland. The waterfall drops 60 m. One of the interesting things about this waterfall is that visitors can walk behind it into a small cave.

The water drops about 60 meters from the cliff above and lands into a beautiful pool below. IMHO, I think this is the most idyllic and picturesque waterfall in all of Iceland. One of the things that makes this waterfall special is the trail that goes behind the falls. It’s a little wet back there but the views are spectacular!
Seljalandsfoss is located at Route 1 in the southern part of Iceland.
It was a stormy and rainy day, and I had to take the photo in very bad weather conditions.

Seljalandsfoss waterfall along Iceland’s southern coast is fed by melting water from the famed glacier-capped Eyjafjallajokull volcano. This powerful waterfall cascades into a pretty meadow. However, the path that runs behind the curtain of water is the main attraction. There you can enjoy a truly unique view of the waterfall.

Sometimes standing to close to the waterfall and having wind and water on the lens a bonus.. :0) ... The water made this amazing effects around the moon..
