Seljalandsfoss waterfall in southern Iceland.

At the seljalandsfoss, Iceland there are only stairs and rocky rock for us to walk up and go behind the waterfall without any railings - a bit of danger out there but it is trilling exciting experience....

A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. Colin Powell

This is one of Iceland's most incredible waterfalls and, as many of you may already be aware, there are indeed LOTS of waterfalls in Iceland

This was one of the most difficult spots to photograph not only because of the wind, that was blowing with a lot of violence, but also by the constant spray of tons of water falling from about 60 meters height.

Due to the proximity of the Ring Road and its impressive natural features this waterfall easily becomes one of the most famous and visited in the country.

It was our first stopover as soon as we arrived in Iceland but that day the Time Gods chose not to collaborate and we ended up photographing this spot only on our last day in Iceland, after a crazy and very tiring trip of 3000 km along this beautiful island.

The harshness of the trip and the difficulty of the site itself made our task even more difficult, but it was good to get at least one shot of this fantastic site that marked our farewell to Iceland in 2018.

Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall located in the South Region in Iceland. The waterfall drops 60 m (197 ft) and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull.

Seljalandsfoss was the first stop on my Icelandic adventure.

This unique waterfall is 60 meters high with the possibility of walking behind it.

Can you spot the people? :)

Seljalandsfoss was my first waterfall I photographed during my visit to Iceland in August 2018. In order to take the photo of the waterfall without the crowd of tourists I took 3 long-exposure shots and blended them into single image in post-processing.

The corona pandemic has not only disadvantages: after the borders were reopened, I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy this well-known waterfall completely at times at sunset. The weather was fine too, so I was able to take the classic Seljalandsfoss photo ...

The beautiful Seljalandsfoss Waterfall on Iceland :-)

I like this one because it's not that typical common view on the waterfall.

Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous and photographed waterfalls in Iceland, most known for being photographed from behind the water. Since I like to go to Iceland in winter, that is never possible: the access to the back is closed due to the snow. This, however, opens up new creative possibilities to portray this amazing waterfall surrounded by icicles and looking like it's digging in the snow. Black & white was a given for this.

The weather was wet anyway...

Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Iceland

One of the best known waterfalls in Iceland and one of the many stops on my tour!

A 10 second exposure here to capture the smooth movement of the waterfall. Also got to walk behind it which was cool :)

Islandia tiene cascadas impresionantes. Esta es una de las mas bonitas.

Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls of Iceland. It is a unique waterfall on the river Seljalandsá, about 30 km west from Skógar. It drops 60 metres (200 ft) over the cliffs of the former coastline.

There's a footpath which goes all the way around it, you can walk around it almost without getting wet :)

A 26 second exposure of Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland's most famous waterfalls. These falls can be viewed from behind (the access steps can be seen to the right) but any long exposures are out of the question because of the amount of spray generated by the plunge pool. Thanks for stopping by.

Seljalandsfoss is one of the best known waterfalls in Iceland. Located in the South Region.about 30 km west from Skógar.

The waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls and natural wonders in Iceland with a foot path behind it at the bottom of the cliff, but with a thin cascade. It is the only known waterfall of its kind, where it is possible to walk behind it.

Such an epic location for your wedding photos... I managed to sneak this photo in during their shoot. I first asked their permission of course.
