Haven't got a macro lens yet, so this was my best attempt. Probably would have been better with my 18-200 but wouldn't have given the same depth of field.

Sorry dear, uncle dont know your name. But she is a a sister to our previous photo title "Bulat". They both a daughter to Boyak's friend Rizal. This was shot during a visit to our house on Hari Raya.

It's not mine. It's my big brothers. But I love it. More photos to come.

Happy Days

The only thing I did in New York, besides work at the conference, was my highest priority, getting together with my very good friends whom I sadly see too rarely. We had some wonderful talk, and Kate's wonderful cooking, and I was treated to my friend Dave's awesome stereo.

The eleventh in my daily series of HIpstamatic photos taken with the iPhone 3G. This was taken in my office... by a friend, while I was laughing at something. Sweet double chin as well!

Hello and Happy Belated New Year.

DAY 1 for Today's Resolution : Smile :)

This is taken in one of those plastic sheds with the skylights in them for light. The cigarette is a candy cigarette, for the record...don't smoke the real, foul things. I was intentionally going for the 'asshole hick' look here, obviously. I grew up in Idaho and knew a few asshole hicks, so this is from life memory. Also for the record, I knew far more cool people there (Boise, ID) than asshole hicks.

Dwayne Flowers, by the way, is an alter ego I created. Long story. But Dwayne's a hick through and through (but he secretly likes hip-hop).
