SB600 full power, 1/2 CTO, shoot thru umbrella - camera left, triggered with Cybersyncs
Taken at a church off of Rt 50 in Arlington, I originally planned to shoot at the graveyard but felt awkward shooting by myself there after dark. I was heading back to the car but passed this handicap ramp on the way with just partial lighting and took advantage.
Excited to start this 365 project with powellgb, even though he's already 2 days ahead of me! I'm looking forward as much to learning post-photo editing as I am to improving my shooting technique, so let's see where this year takes us...
Latest Selfpotrait session I've done, used BrickTop of Snatch the film as inspiration, very notable in some of the pictures.

THanks brow !
No time at all (again!) but this sort of made me giggle... but then I am sleep deprived!

This is what's on my current wishlist:
Lights I think so I can eliminate shadows when shooting... :-)
Tripod as mine is broken - and too low for me - I always have to bend down for self-portraits!!!
Laptop so I can get some editing software downloaded. And, and, and... :-)
since i took pictures of others... i always forgot to take my own picture... memories on which will remain in my history of being here in my dreamland...
It's up with the larks and to bed with the owls .. I am more of an owl so that's ok - but goodness me the morning's are difficult!
At work: caffeine, sugar and good team mates at work are sustaining me. That and blueberries, boiled eggs and salmon!
Outside work: Staying with my very good friend Abigael close to work to avoid the long commute as well as support from my loved ones (who know who they are) really help.
Thank you xx
PS Half day off tomorrow - yay!
PPS Am back from Amsterdam and now only 12 days adrift in my uploading :-) as of 27 May
PPPS I just saw this on a different screen and I think I look a bit demonic? No?

Not sure how I feel about this one. It's a bit odd to see the picture I have of myself in my head looking back at me from the computer screen.
And yes......the red hair is gone and yes it is really this dark and I am really this pale in real life.
