My day was good. I am going up to see my family. My sister is throwing a coed baby shower for my other sister. It should be fun!
I am still around! I haven't been posting as much as I'd like to.
I bought a new camera about two weeks ago. It's a GoPro HERO (2018). I needed a better camera since both of my Nikon DSLR's were ruined in the fire.

Counting Crows - A Long December
So today i tried to take picture with real smoke. I use the ecig(Vapour). Inhaled too much that i am having headache now. Not so sure if i like the picture. But i couldn't do another shot due to the headache.
Got a new softbox, Westcott Apollo 28x28, also bought the 40 degree Grid. Set it up tonight and took some hand held self portraits, to test things out. Most of these were shot with manual setting via YN-622C, at either 1/8th power or 1/4 power, focal length set to auto
20th May 2010, I had the pleasure of doing my own photo shoot. Of course there were no professional stylist, makeup artist and photographer (with assistant), I took all this with my Nikon D40x- no tripod,no external flash, no softbox, just the cam -myself and my left hand -(i am lefthanded by the way)
Nothing like an entourage to draw attention. Cheerio for now, dahlings!

This is 3 30 second exposures overlayed in photoshop. I used the image of me sitting on top of the wall as the background shot and then added the next shot onto it and then erased the parts of that layer that I didn't want revealing the orginal background shot, then I repeated the process for the next layer. Its the only way I could get the shots of me to be in a solid mode without it doing that transparent thing. The Shots were taken at Maroubra Baths NSW Australia 08-June-2008 using a Canon EOS 40D

Everything I seem to read says that they are suppotive for the gall bladder (my particular pain in the side at the moment) and especially in their juiced form.
Apple cider vinegar (cloudy version) is a bit of a cure all ... so a bottle resides in my fridge at all times.
So today I had freshly juiced apples - and maybe later I will treat myself to some grape juice. LOL it's the high life for me. Happy Sunday!

I had a great day! I went to my annual family picnic. There was a lot of people there and the food was always good.

Stepped on a mesquite thorn while taking the shot. It hurts.
This shot took over a hundred to get. No one else was willing to put sprinkles on their lips no matter how much I tried to convince them. Sad day.
Went out for a ride today and decided to have another go at taking a picture while riding. Still not perfect, but am pretty happy with the result...

My day was good. I spent most of my day at the Apple Store for a couple of workshops. I learned some tricks with the iPhone.

What do you hide behind?
Who do you choose to hide from?
Do you wear masks that you wish you could hang on the wall and never pick up again?
We all hide.
I think it's human nature.
Or nature in general.
The fear to face what or who we truly are at times.
It's hard to not feel the need to keep hidden.
We're all hiding.
