2015 Lexus CT - A WORK OF ART POWERING LEXUS COMPACT HYBRID SEGMENT - SMADEMEDIA.COM
The CT when it first came out set the bar for the Lexus company that we have today as both with the new interior design as well as the arrow head LED; as Lexus calls it!! Or as we known it as "THE L LEDs" (Daytime Running Lamps/Lights(DRLs) and the most famous of all the Spindle Grille tho we always say the CT was the first Lexus with the Spindle Grille; However the GS Model was the first official Lexus with the Spindle Grille. We think by the GS came out Lexus figure that they would stick with this as the grille and finally gave it a name, and that our theory of how the Spindle Grille was born. When Lexus introduce the LF LC concept to the world with all the Spindle Grilles and the upcoming cars with the Spindle Grille design in the background the CT was featured as one of those cars. So i say thanks for the CT Lexus it changed the brand and it changed the world! - READ FULL ARTICLE - bit.ly/1hVPnbO

African Blackwood, very hard. The white stripes will be made from my home grown Sycamore limb that was cut down 2 years ago.
The clamp on the LHS was made in England, the other in China at 2/3 rd's cheaper.
A special kind of spring rolls known as “Spring Segments (春段)”, a food for Spring Festival (Lunar New Year) originated from the Palace. Shredded meat, yellow bean buds, leek sprouts and some other ingredients were wrapped by a layer of egg and fried. Then re-cook once again. Unlike the traditional spring rolls, spring segments are neither crispy nor oily.

Day 10
random campsite (Segment 12) to my car at Twin Lakes trailhead
I tried but my knee was not having it. I made the 9 miles to the end of Segment 12 at Clear Creek Road in decent time. Probably around 2 mph, but each step was painful.
The day started at 0603 and about 43f. Great views of the surrounding mountains. At Pine Creek Trail were quite a few campers. It was a nice spot. I took a few breaks but probably not enough. Chatted with some CT hikers and even though I seemed to be making good time, it also seemed like it took forever to get to the bottom.
Once at the bottom I stopped at Clear Creek Bridge to filter some water and to take a short break. Incidentally, I think it was yesterday that I noticed a pinhole leak in Sawyer Mini pouch. Fortunately it is on the bottom, so I was still able to use. This area is Clear Creek Reservoir Campground. A nice free, car camping, spot.
After resting, I crossed bridge and began looking for the trail. I stayed on campground road too long and had to double back some. Finally back on track, it was easy walking or at least it should have been. My leg seized up and that was it. I could barely move.
I still had 9 more miles to go but I knew that it would not be possible. If I had attempted and gotten stranded before reaching the trailhead, it would have been very difficult to get back to the road. There was a dirt road here so I slowly made my way to it. I didn't want to give up, but I really felt it was the best choice to make. I caught a hitch fairly quickly. Travis, from Golden and doing some 14ers, drove me back to my car. Thanks!
I hung out at Twin Lakes trying to decide what to do. Currently camped at Monarch Spur CG again. Tomorrow I'll try a short dayhike on Segment 14 and see what happens. My leg still hurts. 9 miles for the day.
Working out the technicalities of creating a Solid Wooden Picture Segment. (Looks quite a challenge, especially 16 of them).
Can we cut thin strips on my reconditioned table saw?? accuratly?? and sand them at an angle?? Mmm

This is a photograph from the 17:00 - 19:00 segment of the first Edenderry Tri Club "Edenderry 5 Mile Challenge" which was held in Edenderry, Co. Offaly, Ireland on Saturday 27th September 2014 from 15:00 and continuing on until 15:00 on Sunday 28th September 2014. The event is partnered as a charity event and proceeds will go to support Edenderry Tri Club and our Charity Partners - Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, Little Wishes Edenderry and Edenderry Tidy Towns. Three members of the Edenderry Tri Club will complete the 5 mile route in relays for the continuous 24 hours. People are welcome to join in for one, two or as many loops as they wish. The loop is a 5 mile route starting and finishing in Edenderry St. Mary's Secondary School and following the famous Drumcooley 5 mile route which is well known to local runners and walkers. The route brings participants out 'the Tunnel Road' following 'The Bog Road' out to the Canal and then turning right and up the long hill of Drumcooley. After the decent the route makes its way back into the town and joins the Tullamore road and finishes back in the secondary school. Almost 400 people are expected to take part in the event with many runners using the event as an opportunity to get their final long runs completed before the Dublin marathon in October.
