Center bead is one of my polymer clay Stacker beads. The rest are glass, sewn into place. Been doing a lot of outdoorsy stuff lately!
I created the center cabochons out of polymer clay, which are cemented to interfacing. Beads are sewn to the interfacing. These are pretty sweet, eh?
Work in progress.

white lace motif beaded with clear AB seedies, Crystal AB Swarovskis and pearls, and a Sterling Silver clasp
This necklace was inspired by a rosette window I've seen in the Galway Cathedral during a trip to Ireland with my husband. You can see the lovely rosette here:
www.galwaycathedral.org/recitals/cathedralorgan.html
As a tribute to it's place of inspiration, this necklace is dedicated to the ancient Celtic goddess Brigid - the goddess of all things high such as high-rising flames, highlands, hill-forts and upland areas; and of activities and states conceived as psychologically lofty and elevated, such as wisdom, excellence, perfection, high intelligence, poetic eloquence, craftsmanship (especially blacksmithing), healing ability, druidic knowledge and skill in warfare. Brigid is truly a first lady of style and all things important.
This delicate necklace is made of a central pink cabochon, circled with Swarovski pink and green crystals and Swarovski pink pearls. The rosette shape is achieved by delicate petals in clear charcoal beads and pink tear drop beads.
This necklace has been created for the Etsy Beadweaver's (EBW) Beadweaving August Challenge. The theme of this month's challenge is "First Ladies of Style".

The length of the necklace is approximately 21.3" (54 cm). The diameter of the center piece is a approximately 2.4" (6 cm).
The necklace is unique, one of a kind and handmade.
This necklace contains lovely iridescent beads and crystals which change color depending on the reflection of light. The nature of these beads makes it difficult to do them proper justice in the photographs. Believe me, I've tried! The iridescent colors give the necklace an lilac/pink/violet shine depending on the angle. The effect is really stunning.
All my items are made with love and care .

The heart of this unique one of a kind beaded necklace is pink Swarovski crystal rivoli. Decorated with a pink crystal tear drop. The beaded base of the necklace is embellished with many Swarovski crystals and Swarovski pearls in various shades of pink and clear crystal.
However, this beaded jewelry is more than an awareness to a good cause. This necklace is simply drop dead gorgeous with truly dazzling effect. Whether you wear it to work or to an evening event, this necklace will make you the center of attention anywhere you go. The brightness of the exquisite Swarovski crystals will light your face and neck.
As all of my jewelry, this necklace is delicate, elegant and outstanding, assuring you in the main center of attention anywhere you go. A gift full of beauty and meaning.

An Ionic Octahedron, from Gwen Fisher's new Ionic Polyhedra pattern at www.beadinfinitum.com. Czech glass and Japanese seed beads. Created September 2010.
Starting with lightly hammered sterling hoops, I added a beaded pattern around the edge using tiny seed beads and nymo thread. I chose a muted palette of earthy tones.
This is an amazing Peyote cuff of three Blue Butterflies. The way the light plays on the iridescent beads the butterflies appear to dance and move freely on your arm. No butterflies were harmed in the making of this piece. The pattern is my own original design and is also available in my Etsy store. This bracelet is constructed of single drop peyote stitch and has over 4000 beads sewn one at a time to make up the slinky cloth like bracelet. The bracelet measures 7.5 inches (19.05 cm) from end to end and the width of the band measures almost 2.25 inches (5.72 cm) The clasps are made of two peyote toggles. The bracelet will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist (snuggly) My wrist is 7 inches and this is a nice amount of slip for the bracelet to move and show off it's iridescence.

Some necklaces I made this week for the Etsy shop, inspired by strings of Japanes paper lanterns...
The large beads are mde out of polymer clay, which I then dye/paint, stamp with india ink, and then coat with Varathane.
Maya's Dream, a gift pattern from James Farrand, Monomint.etsy.com. A fun bracelet to weave and easy to follow instruction.
