I really must try and think ahead in future - I left myself with yet another stringing problem to solve!
Screw eye findings came to the rescue:-)
This is a variation of my plaited beadwoven bracelets.
This is a particularly beautiful bracelet and very sophisticated too.
The neutral tones allow you to wear it with a wide variety of colours.
I love the visual texture that the plaits create.
Handcrafted jewellery has so much more soul than anything mass produced you get in a shop. And besides, you have the satisfaction of knowing that you are the only person in the world to own such a piece.

I found an embroidery pattern in a library book for an octopus that fit just perfectly onto a certain size of circuitboard I happened to have so I obviously decided to make it, but where the original pattern calls for extra top-stitching to outline the octopus’s suckers I thought I would glue on little white “seed beads” with the hole facing so that they look like raised white rings. I haven’t finished adding those yet but thought I would share a picture of the work thus far.
This is a completely bead-embroidered picture. I used various glass beads...mostly seed beads...to create this. All of the beads are sewn, not glued, into place. This piece is my submission for a cat-themed show called "Juniper-in-June" at Indigenous: A Handcrafted Gallery, in Cincinnati, OH. This is not available for sale online.
You can see the beautiful colors of the Swarovski crystals and my less then stellar attempts at wire wrapping.
