Made by an Inuit artist from cloth and glass seed beads in the 1860s. Kind of a trompe l'oeil thing going on, too. From the Smith College Art Museum collection, SC 1960.156. Never seen it displayed before.
Nothing new under the midnight sun.
These are statement necklaces that will fit most people and requires no clasp. They take all day to make. I only have two available. They’re perfect for those with metal allergies.
Check out my latest custom order – a beaded rooster brooch! This one is called a Moa (Hawaiian for chicken) and he lives on the island of Kauai. I created him by stitching tiny Japanese seize 15 seed beads to a felt foundation. I used more than 10 different colors, including blue 1 x 4mm micro bugle beads. I also layered beaded fringe for his feathers to create realism. This piece is a pin which can also be worn as a pendant. (6.5cm x 5cm) SOLD.
Stamped brass, embellished with Japanese and Czech beads and Swarovski crystal sequins. Backed with raspberry ultrasuede.
Another attempt to wrap one of the beautiful pebbles you can find in abundance on Norfolk beaches. It's still not perfect (so it's probably going to stay mine!), but I think I'm getting there slowly. Solid bronze and ice blue craft wire, with glass seed beads.
Using a large yellow and black cabochon made by glass bead maker Donna Montez as my starting point, I hand-stitched beads onto ultrasuede to create this two-inch-wide cuff bracelet.
"Front" of DancerDog pendant length. About 1 1/8 x 2 3/4, including bail. I made the polymer base...painted with acrylics, then ink drawing. Copper foil on sides. Cured & then formed wire & bead into bail.
Haven't decided yet what rest of piece will be; some jasper and turquoise I'm sure. We'll see what else.
These elegant earrings are bead embroidered around gorgeous Labradorite cabochons in a variety of black glass beads, including Japanese cubes and seed beads and Czech firepolished, smooth round beads and seed beads. The bead embroidered cabochons are complemented by a fringe using beads and black Czech daggers. The back of the earring is lined with ultrasuede. The beaded cabochon measures c. 1 ¼” by 1 ½” (c. 3.5 by 4 cm), the whole earring measures c. 3” (c. 8 cm) from the Sterling Silver earring post to the bottom of the longest part of the fringe. The Labradorite stone has flashes of opal blue which show when the light catches the stone – very beautiful!!!!
These earrings were inspired and complement my Black Panther Necklace
Beaded double bezel using peyote stitch around a lampwork cabochon, then embroidered.
It hangs from a right angle weaved necklace.
This is a one of a kind bead embroidered clutch. The center piece is a beautiful cabochon by MAKU (www.MAKUstudio.etsy.com). Swarovski rivolis, abalone, mother of pearl, pyrite, and pearls are surrounded by hundreds of seed beads, bugle beads, and other glass and crystal beads. The bead work is attached to a black satin clutch purse. The handle is a removable antique brass chain. Countless hours went into the design and completion of the purse.
Approximate size: 11 inches long x 3 1/2 inches high x 2 inches wide.

Many hours of work went into this chain link bracelet. Each loop is individually made from copper lined green seed beads. They were then linked together with bands made of topaz and black seed beads. A hidden snap closes the last loop creating a seemingly endless loop.
Wearing length is 8 inches.
