Luckily I knew exactly where this was, dusted it off and it was perfect for this National theme!!

Boulder Opal cabochon. The fringe consists of over 50 different varieties of seed beads, gemstone chips, freshwater pearls, and Swarovski crystals. The color also becomes more saturated as the fringe progresses downward. Sold!
Macro of a tiny .5 oz eau de toilette bottle. I filled it with seed beads and some slipped out. It is 1.25 inches tall and just under 1.75" wide. It has a bamboo stopper.
I wove one and couldn't stop. I totally love the iris beads with all their iridescence. Twisted bugle beads, seed beads, glass bicones, various iris beads, Amethyst flowers, hex cut iridescent beads, purple cowries in peyote stitch capture, SS clasp, matching Iris Medallion earrings.

Seed beads for creating beautiful things. One of my favorite craft. Peyote, brick stitch, beeded animals... Only the imagination sets limits. HMM!
It looks like lace to me. This is made from a pattern by Sabine Lippert, who was generous enough to provide it on her blog, Try-to-be-better . It's called Frankfurter Perlenspitze. Go check out her beautiful creations.
A lovely hand beaded necklace with square beads in red, pink, yellow, green and blue colours. Squares are double-sided. Necklace is made of seed beads and finished with a pink bead button.
Necklace incl beaded clasp is 37 cm (14.8") long, each square bead is approx 3.2 cm (1.3") long.

Imagine you're at in a penthouse surrounded by people, good drinks and fines foods and all the attention is on your wrist. Or maybe you're at a backyard BBQ...either way your wrist houses this fabulously shinny Black Tie Affair bracelet made out of a combination of green, silver and black 11/0 hex cut glass beads. It's so light weight and drapes your wrist just right that you forget you're wearing it but only for a second. Black Tie Affair was finished off with a silver slide clasp. Black Tie Affair measures 6 3/4" x 15/16".
A cuff in right angle weave. I photographed this (not shown) over a chunk of actual aquamarine and the light greens are nearly an identical color. I call the blue, "Alice Blue" - because for some strange reason, I associate it with "Alice in Wonderland." Perhaps the color of her dress in old illustrations?
This bracelet is 7 1/2" long. It was made with transparent purple amethyst czech glass seed beads and black round czech druk beads. It also features a transparent swarovski crystal bead on both ends of the clasp.

This amazing pair of lampwork shells is made by ukrainian lampwork master Andriy (see Mandra on Etsy).
Their colour is sooo matching to amber that I had no doubts what to mix it with. Thanks to thin chains with amber chips it jingles a little when you're moving )

What a sweet surprise to receive three different colors of beads in the mail. Thank you so much my dear friend for sharing your treats! I can't wait to use them and am working on a Vivienne Westwood inspired project that I already have plans to use them on! Yay!
I love love love this organizer and will soon be upgrading to the larger version. It is called a Dot Box by Cottage Mills. There are little 'dots' on the base and lid that hold the boxes in place, so even if you tip it, the boxes inside won't budge. There are lots of different sizes of little boxes that can be purchased separately. I purchased mine at Storables, but I've seen them online too. A little pricey, but aren't all good organizers? So worth it.

Peyote and netting used to create this large brooch (kind of an obsesson of mine coming up to cooler weather)
Since I started peyoting over buttons I've had this idea in my head to use this beautiful quartz cab with brass/gold seedies. I'm very happy with the results and the picasso purple drops as an addition. It's bold but so beautiful.
This is my second ootheca cuff bracelet. The original design belongs to Rachel Nelson Smith. It is so wonderful in it’s simplicity I find it truly irresistible!
I changed the design a bit to end up with something a little more to my liking and chose a color scheme inspired by the sandy beaches of my country.
