HELP FOR JOHN KITTY!
This is a newly rescued cat at RIKKI'S REFUGE named JOHN. He is badly injured and was relinquished by his owners to a rural pound. He has a badly fractured leg. The vet. facilities at that pound didn't really have the resources to care for John, and he has been turned over to Rikki's Refuge, and the regular veterinarian for Rikki's will be handling John's care. John is at the refuge tonight, being kept comfortable until he can go in tomorrow to begin his extensive treatment and recovery. He would have more than likely been euthanized today. Rikki's Refuge is going to try to get him a second chance at life. and if you would like to help give John Kitty this chance, please donate. If you are unable to donate, please share for him, that will help him a lot too! His care is estimated at $1200. THANK YOU!

I was very surprised to find and meet up with an old friend at the Greenwood Lake airshow in 2015. I ended spending a fair amount of time with this aircraft.

...unique comedy..based on Romans 5.15 ("..gift of grace...Jesus Christ...") (also Theo & Jessie Love) ...very funny..hard to describe in words..based on "stereotyping"...what is a Christian ? **The 168 film fest is named such because it allows filmmakers 168 hours (7 days) to create a film based on a provided Bible verse.**

I'm not big into the Union Jack but I like the colours and the element of irony the day after 'the troubles' hit Holloway.
The number 4 is swinging left from Holloway Rd into Seven Sisters on route to Waterloo via Finsbury Park, Highbury, Angel, Old Street, City and London Bridge. From Archway via Tufnell Park.

Day 57:
With Spring just around the corner I am getting excited about more outdoor shooting. When life starts to bloom I plan on going here again, but this time I do not plan on shooting myself, but I plan on having a model this time around. I am extremely excited about this Summer! Last Summer I let my depression get the best of me, but this year I refuse to let me do so! Summertime shooting, here I come!
Hopefully I can develop some real skill this Summer and have some really great photos... and I know this is extremely high hopes, but maybe, just maybe, get explored?!?

Was this for "best makeup"? I think it should have been nominated in other categories as well ...and maybe could have won best scriptural integration ..based on perhaps the best known verse in the Bible, john 3.16 , ..it captured the meaning of the verse (and the entire story of salvation) in a unique way that makes u think twice or thrice about the radical sacrifice God made by giving His only son...in "the cure"...a virus is rapidly killing the population, but one man's son, for some reason, is immune to the virus and one drop of his blood actually kills the virus..is the man willing to sacrifice his son to save the world (they need all his blood) ..and is the son also willing ? very nice job..**The 168 film fest is named such because it allows filmmakers 168 hours (7 days) to create a film based on a provided Bible verse.**

Day 62:
A day like today shoves my mind towards three things, my three old friends. They are the friends I have always turned to when I have been in need of comforting. If something was wrong, they are the ones I let take control of me, that I let embrace me.
I have a stronger friend now, a friend that sends them away in tears every time my three old friends shows their faces. My friend will not let them take control anymore, ever again.

Graduation ceremony for 136 cadets of the North Carolina National Guard’s Tarheel Challenge Academy at the Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center, in Clinton, North Carolina, Dec. 12, 2014. It completes a journey began at the academy campus in Salemburg, North Carolina. A tough, hard challenge started 22 weeks ago with a residential military style school of equal parts discipline, service, duty and education. Perhaps the prayer lead by a now graduate of the academy puts it best. “Thank you for this second chance.” The cadets earned this chance by more than 8,500 hours of service to the community. They volunteered at a local senior living center, food bank, the Adopt a Road program, state park conservation, disaster preparedness, other civic organizations and the Special Olympics. “We will remember this for rest of our lives,” said Zachary R.M. Jessie, academic honor graduate during the graduation ceremony. (U.S. Army National Guard Photo by Sgt. 1st Class Robert Jordan, North Carolina National Guard Public Affairs/ Released)

Day 171:
When it came time to pick up my camera for the day I had the unpleasant surprise that my one and only memory card was full. So the few hours I actually have to devote to my photography was spent putting all those photographs on my hard drive.
I decided to upload this photograph since I couldn't take a new one today. I have liked this one for quite awhile, but have been selfishly keeping it to myself.
Now it is for everyone to see.

Just so you know. I've been really bored at work lately. I've been taking all of these with my phone.

Should anti-semitic, gay hating, violent racists be forgiven and offered a second chance? This is the #4 Poster in the People of the Second Chance "Never Beyond" series.
Second Chances has many short stories and pictures of dogs who had second chances in life, very inspiring, makes me want to give more than receive.
Boogie was the neighbor's junkyard dog, neglected, chained to his dog house, very lonely and thin. Six years ago we adopted Boogie when we found out he had heartworms & cancer in his toe that had to be amputated.
With this experience, I believe in second chances.
Inspired by Eadweard Muybridge's 'horse in motion' studies.
Bella with fingerlites, blue on the front paw, red on the back paw facing the camera.
When Bella is walking, her back feet step over the space where her front feet stepped into, but during trot, they nearly use the same space sequentially. (The gallop sequence isn't very good, because the fingerlites moved around her legs with the action.)
Studio 26 , second chances. Original assignment 'fun with lights'.
