From Monday 21st September 2015 the operator of route 478 which runs between Swanley and West Kingsdown changed from Nu-Venture to Go Coach. This is the fifth time since May 2011 and the demise of Griffin Bus that the route in its current form has changed hands and the second time its been operated by Go-Coach!
Specially prepared to operated on the route, Go-Coach 5002 YJ59 GGK is seen here at White Post Corner at the top of Farningham High Street whilst working route 478. Wednesday 23rd September 2015.

I took a short stroll through old town Wilcox, Arizona and saw this advertisement for a second hand store. I thought it was clever.
For the basic setup, I placed the camera in front of the kitchen faucet, and opened the faucet until it dripped every second or so. To stop the motion as crisply as possible, I used an off camera flash as the main lighting: Because the flash is so very fast (1/10,000 of a second), it tends to freeze the motion of the water, making for a more crisp shot.
I wanted a background that would look good in black and white (i.e. something simple), so I printed "H2O" onto a piece of paper, placed behind the faucet. If you focus "through" the water, the drops act as a lens, allowing you to see the background through the water.
Once I had everything set up, it was mostly a matter of taking a bunch of shots (100 or so?) until I got the timing right, and a "pretty" looking drop.

Lol I have been waaaaay to busy lately to upload really anything so here's a pic of the progress on the second section of Sicily I hope to finish by next January. :p
BTW Mr. Chapman the Fiat Revelli Modello 1914 with be going on the Pier. :p

Sometimes the second locomotive out does not get the attention that the first out does. Here ex Central Vermont GP9 an EMD 1957 graduate, later converted to a GP9R #4609. While sitting in the yard second out and coupled to the train had to take a wooded vantage point to get a shot.
With the coming of G&W ownership of RailAmerica and the uncertainty of the motive power situation here in the future, we figured a visit to the ISRR's yard at Petersburg was in order. A late night at Ashby Yard finds a few tidbits of power that are put to use on their railroad. Petersburg, IN.
The news cycle was round the clock coverage it seemed. More deaths were reported. WRA005/001 haul 6D40 west through Gowrie Junction. This was the second half of the train bound for Roma to load, the first half being dropped off and stowed at Toowoomba.
An interesting over/under of road rails and river under the Freeman Parkway bridge in Glen Ridge, NJ. The scene is host to one of NJ Transit's three non-revenue ex-CNJ GP40Ps being utilized as a cab car this evening on the westbound Train #1003 to Denville, NJ. As the 48-year old EMD veteran rumbles through the scene over a signature DL&W structure the waters of the Second River gently flow towards the Passaic River.
