Those are little seashells we picked in Thailand years and years and years ago which my sister found when clearing her room and conveniently dumped on me. D:
Seashells on a sunny day. Created by placing shells on a mirror outside on a perfect day. No Photoshop tricks. :)
Through my photos I observed how diverse sea life is and how no seashell or piece of sea glass is alike. I chose knolling as my style of photography. I think it effectively showed how my observation of the sea because I got to show how in different places different shells and glass form. In order to do this project i had to teach myself to be patient and orderly so that I could take the photo that I wanted to. I realized that I was going to need a plain black background for my photo but I didn’t have any matte black pieces of paper, so I had to use a blackout curtain that I had on my window.
I had fun making this wreath. It is one of my favorites. Includes sea glass and pottery found at glass beach and some of the seashells I found in the south of France and on beaches in Spain.

Seashell found on Tatlow's Beach near Stanley, Tasmania, Australia. The light was getting a bit harsh for landscape photography so a quick change of lens and a wander along the beach while I was waiting for Tinnie, Murph and Garth to finish up.

I see the whisper of the wind has found your hair again
And though my heart said give me refuge in your dignity my dear
All I could do was put a seashell to your ear

Collected seashells today. I really like what I found. Those two rainbow ones in the bottom left are among my favorites.
The beach is made entirely of seashells - including Oysters, Mussels and Cockles - which are deposited onto the beach through a process known as longshore drift. Not a lot of people know that!
Seashell on a dusty surface. I guess I need to do more house cleaning and less photography. Playing around with lighting
