Here is the box filled with quotes, they are printed on paper then I used water colors to give them color then rolled them up to look like scrolls.

Philharmonie Berlin
Die goldschimmernde Philharmonie ist schon von außen ein ungewöhnlicher Blickfang. Hans Scharoun, Vertreter einer organischen Moderne, dachte und plante das 1963 eröffnete Gebäude von innen her mit zeltartig aufgeworfenem Dach, das nach hitzigen Debatten über seine Architektur den Spitznamen „Zirkus Karajani“ erhielt.
Die Philharmonie ist die Heimat der Berliner Philharmoniker, eines des wohl berühmtesten und besten Orchester nicht nur in Berlin, sondern in der ganzen Welt. Eine Besonderheit: Die 128 Musiker wählen ihren Chefdirigenten gemeinschaftlich in geheimer Abstimmung.
Anders als in klassischen Konzertsälen sitzt das Orchester in der Philharmonie mitten im Raum, eingekreist vom Publikum. Es gibt sogar Sitze hinter dem Orchester, wo die Konzertgänger dem Dirigenten ins Gesicht blicken können. Die Zuschauerränge sind terrassenartig angeordnet. Dank der gefalteten Wände und der zeltartigen Decke haben die Zuhörer auf allen 2.440 Sitzplätzen ein großartiges Klangerlebnis.

Berlin Philharmonic
The shimmering golden Philharmonie is an unusual eye-catcher even from the outside. Hans Scharoun, a proponent of organic modernism, designed and planned the building, which opened in 1963, from the inside with a tent-like raised roof and was nicknamed "Circus Karajani" after heated debates about its architecture.
The Philharmonie is home to the Berliner Philharmoniker, one of the most famous and best orchestras not only in Berlin, but in the whole world. A special feature: the 128 musicians select their chief conductor collectively by secret ballot.
Unlike in classical concert halls, the orchestra in the Philharmonie sits in the centre of the room, surrounded by the audience. There are even seats behind the orchestra where concertgoers can look the conductor in the face. The audience tiers are arranged like terraces. Thanks to the folded walls and the tent-like ceiling, listeners in all 2,440 seats have a great sound experience.
A wall of scrolls leads the way to the Shinto shrine at Mt Takao, in north Tokyo.

Bonaventure Cemetery is a public cemetery located on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah, Georgia. The cemetery became famous when it was featured in the 1994 novel Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, and in the movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, based on the book.
Being by the river, there were lots and lots of mosquitoes :(

No photos were allowed in the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit (for good reason!) but I managed to snag this on the way in... I should clarify, this is obviously not one of the scrolls, this was a stone carved slab found at the DSS site during the original find. I am aware that flash photography can ruin and degrade some of these display pieces. This photo was taken with *no* flash, through a thick glass case on my lowest ISO setting, rapid fire shutter.

TOPOGRAPHIE DES TERRORS
Die Institutionen des NS-Terrors
Auf dem Gelände der „Topographie des Terrors“, neben dem Martin-Gropius-Bau und unweit des Potsdamer Platzes, befanden sich von 1933 bis 1945 die wichtigsten Zentralen des nationalsozialistischen Terrors: das Geheime Staatspolizeiamt mit eigenem „Hausgefängnis“, die Reichsführung-SS, der Sicherheitsdienst (SD) der SS und während des Zweiten Weltkriegs auch das Reichssicherheitshauptamt.
Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg geriet die Geschichte des Orts allmählich in Vergessenheit. Die von Gestapo und SS genutzten Gebäude waren durch Bombenangriffe zerstört oder stark beschädigt worden. Ihre Reste wurden bis Mitte der 1950er Jahre gesprengt und abgerissen. Durch die Teilung der Stadt rückte das Gelände an den Rand West-Berlins und war ab 1961 im Norden von der Berliner Mauer begrenzt.
Erst Ende der 1970er Jahre wurde der historische Ort "wiederentdeckt". Verfolgtenverbände und Bürgerrechtsvereinigungen wiesen auf die historische Bedeutung des Orts hin.
BAUDENKMAL BERLINER MAUER
Die Berliner Mauer wurde weltweit zum Symbol der Teilung Deutschlands nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg und darüber hinaus Symbol des Kalten Krieges zwischen Ost und West.
Der Bau der Mauer begann am 13. August 1961. Mit dieser über 150 km langen Grenzsperranlage riegelte die Regierung der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik (DDR) Ost-Berlin und das übrige Gebiet der DDR hermetisch ab.
Das 200 m lange Reststück der Mauer an der Niederkirchnerstraße – die hier die Grenze zwischen den Bezirken Mitte (Ost-Berlin) und Kreuzberg (West-Berlin) markierte – wurde auf Wunsch der „Topographie des Terrors“ mit allen Spuren der Zerstörung aus der Zeit des Mauerfalls erhalten und 1990 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt. Das Mauerfragment ist heute Bestandteil des Dokumentationszentrums Topographie des Terrors. Als eines der wenigen noch erhaltenen Mauerreste in der Stadt ist es auch eine Station innerhalb des vom Berliner Senat entwickelten „Gesamtkonzepts Berliner Mauer“.

The institutions of Nazi terror
From 1933 to 1945, the most important centres of National Socialist terror were located on the site of the "Topography of Terror", next to the Martin-Gropius-Bau and not far from Potsdamer Platz: the Secret State Police Office with its own "house prison", the Reichsführung-SS, the Security Service (SD) of the SS and, during the Second World War, the Reich Security Main Office.
After the Second World War, the history of the site was gradually forgotten. The buildings used by the Gestapo and SS were destroyed or severely damaged by bombing raids. Their remains were blown up and demolished by the mid-1950s. Due to the division of the city, the site moved to the edge of West Berlin and was bordered by the Berlin Wall to the north from 1961.
The historic site was only "rediscovered" at the end of the 1970s. Organisations representing victims of persecution and civil rights associations drew attention to the historical significance of the site.
BERLIN WALL MONUMENT
The Berlin Wall became a worldwide symbol of the division of Germany after the Second World War, and also symbolised the Cold War between East and West.
Construction of the Wall began on August 13,1961, when the government of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) hermetically sealed off East Berlin and the rest of the GDR with this 150 km long border barrier.
The 200-metre-long remaining section of the Wall on Niederkirchnerstraße - which here marked the border between the districts of Mitte (East Berlin) and Kreuzberg (West Berlin) - was preserved at the request of the "Topography of Terror" with all traces of destruction from the time of the fall of the Wall and placed under a preservation order in 1990. The Wall fragment is now part of the Topography of Terror Documentation Centre. As one of the few remaining remnants of the Wall in the city, it is also a station within the "Overall Berlin Wall Concept" developed by the Berlin Senate.
