Detail of Mrs Rodney's memorial.

Below tabernacle work is St Wilfrid, wearing a mitre and carrying a cross. Inscription on a scroll over his head: “Sanctu'[s] Wilfridu'[s] Funda= =tor noster”. [Saint Wilfrid, Our Founder]. Below him are three angels each holding a mitre. Below the angels are three ecclesiastical heraldic arms:—

On the left the arms of the See of York: on a red field two silver keys with ornate handles are crossed in saltire below a gold crown.

In the centre the arms of the See of Ripon: on a silver field a red saltire cross with two gold keys below a red band with a silver Agnus Dei. The Agnus Dei or Lamb of God, the emblem of St John the Baptist; the lamb passant with a nimbus about its head, holding in an uplifted foot and supporting on the dexter shoulder a cross-shaft from which flies a pennon argent charged with a cross gules.

On the right the arms of the See of Chichester: on a blue field in gold our Blessed Lord in judgement seated on His throne crowned with a halo about His head, His right hand held out, in His left hand an orb, out of his mouth a red two-edged sword.

The wheat-sheaf at bottom right is part of the family coat of arms adopted as the trademark of the great 19th century stained glass maker C E Kempe. [CT-S in Hexham Abbey News 06/08/2017]

The black detail above the linx is the braid I was trying to do earlier, I finally figured it out. It's actually straight from my inspiration. The blue flowers come from www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAWI_gmXV1U and www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaKMGq_GLpU

Scroll of Fire is a monument found in the Jerusalem hills, and it commemorates Jewish history from The Holocaust until Independence. The monument was inaugurated in 1971.

The initiative for the monument came from B'nai B'rith of the United States, and was funded by them. The monument was sculptured by the artist Nathan Rapoport, who is a Holocaust survivor.

One of the scrolls describes the Holocaust and the other describes independence. In the space between the two scrolls, there are two rooms of memorial, and in each one is engraved a quote from the bible.

Been messing about with smoke recently. Quite easy to do and you get some great effects.

My 6 year old Niece asked me to make a small Christmas present for her mam and dad. She designed it herself.

Small scroll inspired by Plate 23 of Hans Talhoffer's "Fechtbuch", first produced in 1443.
