January 8, 2019 - Traveling on Route 90 heading to Masada National Park. The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 11 Qumran Caves located in the Judaean Desert on the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea. This photo shows the landscape of the area where the scrolls might have been found.

Just a few miscellaneous items today. A scroll to announce the guests at the royal ball and the king's scepter.
In addition to showing our Media Dots on the map, this version (part of our beta for the first few months) had a scrolling Media Wall at the top that would synchronize itself with the current map view.
The end result was a very hyper Media Wall always moving, trying to catch up with the user.
Scroll of Fire is a monument found in the Jerusalem hills, and it commemorates Jewish history from The Holocaust until Independence. The monument was inaugurated in 1971.
The initiative for the monument came from B'nai B'rith of the United States, and was funded by them. The monument was sculptured by the artist Nathan Rapoport, who is a Holocaust survivor.
One of the scrolls describes the Holocaust and the other describes independence. In the space between the two scrolls, there are two rooms of memorial, and in each one is engraved a quote from the bible.
