Scrolling Along:
Scrolling Along happened in 2004 as Simchat Torah approached. I was trying to imagine what dancing with the scrolls would look/feel like... and what emerged was the soft muted teals of a sanctuary's walls... scrolling upward, a musical note above one scroll... rising, as consciousness becomes one with the star.
Although the dance is freeing, reaching the pinacle then allows your return, slightly aglow, refreshed and renewed... and ready to begin the dance once again.
Augusta Bro has tons of player piano rolls. QRS is still in existence. As you read this sentence, QRS is transcribing current songs into rolls.

A scroll I have in my dining room that a friend of mine brought back from her trip to China. As you can see below, it is a scroll that blesses the family.

These earrings hang about an inch from your ear with a gentle curve like a hoop. They are simple and light enough for every day wear.

In progress, making the scroll book from the instructions in cloth paper scissors magazine. This is the outside cover. It was quick and easy to make, but I didn't like how all the pages curled up once it had been rolled.
Milo is the most recently appointed Partner in Law firm Windsor & Maverick. Hot shot Milo impressed Senior Partner and law firm founder Callum Windsor with his razor sharp intelligence, prodigious ability to digest copious amounts of complex text and his charismatic courtroom style. When Milo was headhunted by a rival firm, Callum offered him a partnership role and an enticing Golden Handshake (enough to make Milo turn down the rival offer) Sergio is new to the firm, just arrived. His fashionable yet quirky style (city pinstripes with mountain hiking/ski boots) and personable charm has made him the office darling. But what the office doesn't know (yet) is that Milo and Sergio are in a long term relationship which started in law school... will they keep it a secret or let everyone know?

Cream box card - Elegantly framed and designed to soothe. This organic piece of beauty is for the sophisticated ones. The cream-colored handmade silk paper in the form of scroll card redefines the meaning of classic beauty. The golden design bars that frame the card add a touch of glitter to it. A golden ribbon ties the box envelope.
The scroll has golden bars for support and a golden & red silken threads combined to form the tassel for tying. The box envelope is of velvet.
Pictures taken for putting it on eBay, but might as well stick 'em here too, and maybe get around to putting this in the PigPog museum sometime.
travis says that his is the only horizontal-scrolling blog he knows of. well, mister, back in 2001 (hello, dave) i had a horrible horizontal-scrolling blog, too.
this is a screenshot of the horded-away template i made after i retired it, as i was known to do. back in the day, i'd change the layout of my site weekly (it felt like weekly), so i kept the code around for other people to use and for my own packratty purposes.
who knew it'd actually come in handy for proving a point?
Vellum cut for Joan's scroll. Bummed the piece wasn't a tiny bit bigger so I could have cut it the other way and had two 12x16 pieces.
Hand forged and hammered silver scrolls dangle on a handmade ear wire.
Oxidized and sanded silver, giving these earrings a unique and interesting look.

I think I will rip it out and do it in stem stitch. The plan is to do the other side of the scroll in a darker purple
