The man in this quarter plate ambrotype poses with a length of paisley cloth across his lap and a large pair of scissors in his left hand. (Amborytpes are mirror images.) We call him "The Tailor." Cased images that include occupational tools are especially prized.

Another of the bizarre, hard-to-pop bubbles.
Just doing some experimenting with different objects to pop them. I thought that this would work a little better!

I encountered this odd scene (well, the scissors were further away from the plate) today in the kitchen of our office. My first reaction was "huh??" - and my second reaction was "I've got to photograph this!".
So I did, and here's the result.
What does the image represent for you? It's obviously about chocolate bunnies and a pair of scissors, but what else is it about?

Todays weather was lovely so I went out and took quite a lot of pictures. Here is one of them my ~ Vintage scissors. ✿
P.S I know I deleted a lot of pictures but I had a reason for that ;)

I used ParticleShop to add these fabric swishes to my scissors image. A simple brush addition, but just getting used to using the tool. Particleshop is a brush plugin for Photoshop. You can buy brush packages - it comes with a basic set of brushes.
thomas game me these for christmas. this image was scanned and the blurry thing on the right is the cat's paw. he was curious about my hand being in the scanner so he went for it.
