Nobody leave the room.
Everyone listen to me.
We had ten-pairs of scissors
At half-past two,
And now there’s only three.
Seven pairs of scissors,
Disappeared from sight.
Not one of you leaves
Till we find them.
We can stop here all night!
Scissors don’t lose themselves,
Melt away, or explode.
Scissors have not got
Legs of their own
To go running off up the road.
We really need those scissors,
That’s what makes me mad.
If it was seven pairs
Of children we’d lost,
It wouldn’t be so bad.
I don’t want to hear excuses.
Don’t anyone speak.
Just ransack this room
Till we find them,
Or we’ll stop here… all week!
I've made this cover for my scissors, it matches my quilt-bag. I've used Tilda-fabrics and tried my free-motion-quilting on it. It was so much fun to make!
This is a knife block that my son made at woodworking classes when he was at primary school forty years ago. I decided recently to use it for my kitchen scissors. Even though they are out of place at least I know where they are.

As the barber-shops opened yesterday, I was lucky to get a free chair at my local barber (which is also a friend of me and my wife) and after I got my sleek cut I took some shots in his shop.
He likes to upcylce old stuff and likes old school razors, clippers etc. and his shop generally has very old school interior
Unfortunately I was a bit in a hurry so I could only take a few shots. In maybe 4 weeks more will follow.
All pictures are taken with my Fuji X-Pro1 & XF35/f1.4 as RAW-files and processed afterwards in Affinity Photo.
I was allowed to take a picture of the scissors which are always shining with great brightness in my favorite hair salon. These scissors seem to be the things that several times of my camera per one is expensive when they hear it after having taken it. I was surprised that it was adopted a ball bearing by these very much !!

ODC...scissors...As I use scissors every single day, I wanted to do something different than the norm. So, I used my 'kid' size scissors and created this paperchain dedicated to all my Flickr friends. It was a lot of fun, but now I have a mess of bits of paper to clean up.
