Robert lent me a book on the grand themes in photography. I came across the classic image of a pair of scissors by Pal-Nils Nilsson and was mesmerized by how he could take something so simple and make it so seductive.
Anyhow that's the back-story on this week's image. My take on a classic.
Mom and Dad gave me this cool scissor kit for Christmas. I have been thinking about doing more paper crafts - these will work well for Project Spectrum v 2.0 crafts I have been planning :) The colors of the scissors will match as well!

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.
An abstract of some pairs of scissors. I held a plastic lens from a flashlight in front of the lens of my Canon G12
Braised pork belly, egg, spinach on rice with red thai curry sauce, yellow curry and brown gravy. Next time I'll add a breaded pork cutlet to this.
I honestly don't know what I'm doing or what Viktorya is doing either... she likes to stab her dolls apparently with sharp objects when her papa is not looking... lol
chrystiehill's photo of found scissors made me want to take one of my own. She had the scissors as a tiny little subject pointing toward the outside of the frame. I wanted to see if I could make an even more annoying picture by cutting off the tips. I don't think it's annoying enough though. I may try again. (Oh, no! I'm a poser.)
