With its impressive 'tiger' paint scheme, XX119, a 6 Squadron RAF Sepecat Jaguar GR3A stands on display at RAF Cosford during a Timeline Events evening photo charter.
I wasn’t around when this scheme existed so it’s cool to be able to see this. Another Amtrak heritage to add to the list.
S312,T363 shunt a rake of hoppers to the Quambatook silos after arriving on 9-4-21.

Painted to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the RNoAF it is in the colours of Spitfire IX, PL258 FN-K, of 331 (Norwegian) Squadron which crash landed on 29 December 1944 near Tubbergen, the Netherlands. The Spitfire is currently being restored in the U.K. as G-NSFS, soon to be put on the Norwegian register as PL258/FN-K. -22/07/2019

Lately Bert has wanted to have a say in where we go for our weekend walks. Always open for input I have decided to let him do the scheming. I can't wait to find out what exciting places we will visit next weekend.
I can only guess but I think we might encounter squirrels, sheep and lots of deer for chasing; rivers to run along in; lochs to go swimming in; and snow to dig around and roll in.
I hate a lot about this guy, but I went ahead and entered because I still haven't seen any entry that I like more. I also dislike canonization contests, though thankfully they have all turned out at least somewhat okay. I'm seriously worried about this one.

I visited one of the truly outstanding gardens in England in September 2017. The pictures in this album show how beautiful it is, no matter what the weather.
On the day of my visit it was raining. At times, very hard. But it did let up occasionally. The soft light you often get when it’s cloudy and overcast is, more often than not, much better than bright sunlight.
The other advantage of taking photographs in the rain is the fact that you get both superb reflections and the rain on the plants adds something very special.
I intend to go back to this garden in the future in different seasons. I’m sure it will give some amazing photo opportunities.
For those that get the chance to visit the garden it’s only open to the public for a few days each year. To find out more visit their website… www.dipley-mill.co.uk/
The garden opens up to the public to raise monies for the National Gardens Scheme charity in the UK. Again to find out more visit, ngs.org.uk

Last two photos from the Southsea Coastal Scheme. I took this candid cos the man in the hat reminded me a bit of Matt in his hat! You can see Spitbank Fort in the background in the Solent waters.

I liked the colour of the leaves, all different shades of brown, monochromatic ???
I have one more place I would like to try and take a photo of her.

This is my everyday project for 2010. Taking one lyric from a song every day and creating art or taking a photo inspired from that lyric.
Here's what a Northern Pacific BNSF heritage SD70ACe might look like (Photoshopped) in the passenger two-tone scheme. I'd give up a kidney to see something like this on the former NP somewhere (how about the MRL?).

Four different BNSF paint schemes, including the one and only experimental "Great Pumpkin," feature on priority merchandise train H SUPNTW1 13A as it soars over a frozen Kettle River at Robinson Park in Sandstone on the former Great Northern. Built by the St. Paul, Minneapolis & Manitoba (StPM&M) Railway in 1894, this bridge features a combo deck truss and deck girder style design that stretches 764 feet in length, making it one of the largest railroad bridges in the state of Minnesota. For unknown reasons, this 79-car Superior to Northtown freight sat at its originating terminal for over 36 hours before it was finally let loose earlier in the afternoon for its trip south to the Twin Cities. Originally set to have just the EMD SD60Ms lead, the near 2 day layover at Superior eventually saw more power hostled on to the train and we lucked out with this ex-Santa Fe "Warbonnet" Dash 9 being given the honors. Operated today as BNSF's Hinckley Subdivision, this line's single track remains the only active rail route between Duluth-Superior and Minneapolis-St. Paul and often sees trackage rights moves from other class 1 giants like Union Pacific, Canadian National and Canadian Pacific.
This was a shot that's been on my "want" list for awhile now and after cleaning things up on the Iron Range, JB and I timely pointed the car down I-35 with this train's departure and after a short wait, the proverbial "check mark" next to Sandstone was complete.
Chicago Central #1719 shows off the new corporate color scheme in this May 1988 photo. I had caught it coming east the day before, and this was westbound train #11 the following day. This is at the famous Mile Post 22 location at S. Addison, IL The weeds in the foreground are now taller than the locomotive, and the siding is gone. Getting back in the car after this shot, the radio just happened to be playing the INXS song "New Sensation". Indeed it was.
All of a sudden, it became a Norfolk & Western Railway event in 2012 at the old Southern shops in Spencer, North Carolina. Crews placed Norfolk Southern ES44AC #8103 alongside two of their N&W museum pieces so that photographr's cuold get their shots.
NW 522 us an EMD GP30 locomotive built for the Norfolk & Western Railway in 1962. It was in town for the heritage units get together.
Norfolk & Western Railway #620 is an EMD GP9 built for N&W in 1958. It was retired by Norfolk Southern in 1985 and donated to the North Carolina Transportation Museum. It was painted by NCTM into this passenger diesel scheme although in 2018 it went back into basic N&W black. It tends to get a lot of use as it is favored by museum crews.
In Oct 91 GPA painted the ex Sultan Air B737 in a special demo livery. A lease deal was agreed and the aircraft painted in Lithuanian's standard livery with 3 variations of tail marks before delivery as HA-LEC as it was initially operated on Malev's AOC. It returned to Shannon in July 1994 in the new livery for maintenance.

Are you like me and dream of one day owning a Victorian style home? Is there something keeping that dream from becoming a reality?
Well, then this Victorian Dream Home is for you. I created this project to fulfill that dream in some small way while also hoping to fulfill another dream of mine; to design a real LEGO set.
If you like the idea of this project as a LEGO set and would want LEGO Ideas to release one, please cast your vote by clicking here to go to LEGO Ideas and support the project. It’s free to support and setup a LEGO ID. Also, by supporting The Victorian Dream Home, you are NOT obligated to buy it if it is released in the future.
If this project reaches 10,000 supporters, then LEGO Ideas will consider it for an official LEGO set. If they decide to release an official version, the final design will be created by LEGO Master Builders. Mine is only a prototype.
More information on the build process and set details can also be found on LEGO Ideas

The southern section of the Catchwater Drain north of Skellingthorpe Road in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
The drain was created by architect Sir John Rennie as part of the Lincoln West Drainage scheme in 1816 to make the lowlands on the west of the city more marketable for the landowners such as Lord Monson.
The Catchwater Drain runs from Skellingthorpe and through Swanpool and Boultham. It meets the River Witham at the end of Altham Terrace at a crossway junction with Sincil Drainage Dyke. Part of the drain runs into the Witham, part of it turns north and runs alongside the River until Coulson Road where it joins the Main Dyke and flows into the River Witham.

As far as BNSF (post merger) schemes go, my personal favorite is the first and short lived Heritage 1.
Seeing it lead is not an easy find anywhere (unless it's a set of SD40s in MN), so it's a real treat when you can shoot one.
Such was the case today on U-EEPCXP. Third out is a dirty CP GE, which adds to a nice mix on this train in nice March sun. Thank you, Lasko and Vandenberg!
I admit it. I want the life of luxury as the trophy wife of a kleptoporno-oligarch in a South Beach penthouse with a mountain of drugs, a Black card, a tons and tons of Igor Daddy's friends and business associates who know me from the sex tape he made on our honeymoon, "Princess Pink Clam and the Albanian Ass Bandits"
