The Odakyu Electric Railway's fleet of railway cars are, for the most part, uniform. They mainly operate a fleet of silver and blue painted EMUs. With the exception of the Romancecars and one, red 1000 Series set, the 8000 series are the outliers. Built from 1983-1987, the 8000 Series are some of the oldest stock on the Odakyu Railway. They handle local, rapid, and express services across its network. After the completion of the 8000 series in 1987, Odakyu switched schemes to the silver and blue we see today.

I walked off the street, through a pair of wooden french doors, into into a dimly lit atrium. I had my Taurus revolver drawn, as I had information from a reliable source that a mafia boss, Rufus Valentin was holding my nephew, Julius Crown, an journalist for the Metropolis Star, captive here. I crept to the grate in the middle of the door of the room adjoining the atrium, and peeked in. There Julius lay, trussed up with a sack over his head. Rufus stood, whiskey flask in hand, cackling at Julius with one of his henchmen who was wielding a bat. I grasped the doorknob of the door, turned it, then kicked it open. It caught Rufus on the back of the head and he fell forward, smashing a already broken bottle into bits. The henchmen turned and eyed me menacingly. I strode into the room...

For the Brick Noir category of the MA's: Foggy streets and mysterious figures, trench coats and fedoras, and cigarette smoke that seems to have a life of its own. Build a scene based on the dark crime films from the 1940's.
I could really use everyones' opinion on whether or not this fits the category.
Enjoy and God Bless!

Happy St. Paddy's Day! Go out there and get CRAZY!
Just as a side note; I never noticed how Anna's Coronation dress and Elsa's Frozen Fever dress have similar color schemes, and the same can be said for Anna's FF dress and Elsa's Coronation dress (which both have a lot of blue)
A small series of photos by the Delft Bram Bogart. He was a Dutch/Belgian abstract painter, sculptor, graphic artist, ceramist and designer. He was also known as Abraham van den Boogaart. He was naturalized as a Belgian in 1969.
The love for Delft is a recurring theme in Bram Bogart's work. References to the city are a common thread through his oeuvre; in titles of works, performances and use of color. For example, in 1984 Bogart exhibited thirteen works in the Prinsenhof with a blue and white color scheme under the title Les Bleus de Delft, a reference to Delft pottery. Also in Painter of format you see the Delft theme in Vermeer (2003), De Prins (1990) and Prinsenhof (1963), among others, both in the title and in the blue and white color scheme.

Connecticut Southern Train CSO-4 is reflected in the waters of the Windsor Locks canal. P&W B23-7R 2215 leads a three locomotive type, three paint scheme consist of B39-8 and GP38-2. B39-8 8530 wears the faded LMX Leasing scheme that was applied when the unit left the Erie Works of GE in 1987. And GP38-2 2046 wears the "corporate" scheme of Genesee & Wyoming, itself in the process of selling itself to Brookfield Asset Management. So who knows how long the Orange and Black of G&W will be around for?
Free Tibet Campaign, established in 1987, is an independent membership organisation. All of our funding comes from individual supporters.
It should be noted that Free Tibet is not a charity, though we are a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. Due to the current laws in UK we are unable to apply for charity status, due to what is deemed to be the political nature of our work (the same applies for organisations like Amnesty International and Greenpeace).
As of November 2006 Free Tibet had more than 19,000 supporters. Supporters are able to become further involved by joining our Urgent Campaign Scheme, participating in actions and events and getting involved with their local group. -- www.freetibet.org/

The “rusty” F-16AM scheme of the Belgian Air Force’s 31 Sqn was one of the great scheme's this year and always catches you out as they are a different scheme each side of the tail.

Shortly after daybreak on a warm summer Saturday morning, northbound CSXT K685 thunders through Kingston NY after meeting a Q010 at dawn at Milton. I sacrificed a day trip to the DL in the Poconos to catch this predawn runner with the duo CN M-2s elephant style on the River Sub. A favorite model and scheme. Thanks to the Triple D boss for the tip!
Metro North's newest heritage unit MNCR 203 painted (not wrapped) in the 1979 "Blue M Central" scheme shoves its train towards Grand Central while MNCR 217 the Penn Central heritage unit is heading to Poughkeepsie. Dumb luck found me at the Spuyten Duyvil station at the right time.
There were only 3 of these AC traction motor locomotives on the railroad and the paint scheme unique also. They spent a great deal of their time together testing on coal trains and lead to the purchase of hundreds of AC powered SD70MAC locomotives on the property.
Utah purchased some ex SP SD45s and some ex BN F45s to power their coal train for a little while in the late 80s early 90s. They added a couple of white chevrons to the nose and Utah on long hood and called good. From what I learned only two actually made into this scheme. 9147 leads a coal train as they crest Soldier Summit. 9.90
