Located nearest to St.Basil's, Savior Clock Tower c. 1491 once the official entrance of the Czars to the Kremlin, now the entrance for government officials. Before clock faces were installed an icon was prominently displayed on the tower.

We had a bit of a run-in with a snowbank on our way up the trail. First Leif picked us up (pushing his five pairs of skis out of the way to make room in the car!), and then Bill came and ploughed and pulled us out. Huzzah! This is also the snowplough famous for its role on Car Talk.
