On my way to Bishamondai hill/temple, i lost my way.
These 2 elementary students helped me out, despite they dont really understand english well.

So, just after those portraits were taken, someone threw another log on the bonfire, sending sparks flying everywhere. Unluckily, one of the damn pieces flew into my conjunctivitis eye. I tried for 10 minutes to rub, scrape, and flush the thing out on my own. Then I got help from Megan, one of the longtime attendees we'd befriended. Then Donal came, and another stranger. We even went back to camp for better seat and light. Pulled out a few chunks of debris, but I still felt something under. We spoke with a cop but he had nothing in his car to help. I was in a furious misery, so, despite having to miss the actual New Year's Eve countdown, we hopped in the car and drove the hour and a half back to Palmerston North to get the eye looked at.
We celebrated the onset of 2009 somewhere on the freeway, with me able to see tiny fireworks in the distance out of my good eye.
Our Savior held a grand opening at their West San Antonio Campus on September 11, 2022. They had over 100 people in worship and needed to set up more chairs than they had planned. Many first-time guests joined. They had coffee, cookies, and breakfast tacos during fellowship hour after the service. One visiting family said, “I will be back next week!”

Marlon (and Matt) rescued me when the battteries on my tape recorder went dead, bringing me a pair of AAs pulled from Matt's wireless mouse.
A simple gesture could convey a lot of information. Bus was coming toward me, yet it's accelerating. I stretched my arms and waved my hand rapidly. Bus driver immediately get my information though there's no verbal communication. Hand, at that moment, was the savior that kept me from being late to class.
