This Save Mart has a "mountain" theme.
It is a large store yet only has 5 checkouts. The Vons across the road had a "Welcome Save Mart Pharmacy Customers" Banner but the pharmacy in this store was operating as normal.
I was one of the fortunate few to win a sample of highest (above 14,000 feet!) quality Cashmere! Thanks to Linda Cortright of Wild Fibers Magazine and Save the Fleece.
yes, he made the save. I wish I shot this slightly slower to get the movement of the ball from right to left; but then again I'd be upset that the goalie was blurred, so I'll take it. lol

On December 15th, West Point's Benny Havens Band performed at the Opry City Stage located in Times Square in New York City. The venue, which bills itself as "New York City's home for country music and culture" was a perfect place for the band to play county music hits as well tunes from their recently released album, Songs That Save Our Lives. Of the family photos I took for a friend, we only managed to get 2 where everyone was looking at the camera and smiling. Of the 2, the flash didn't fire for one and my friend's eyes were closed in the other.
It took about an hour but this is a section from the family photo, before on the left, after on the right.

Hello! She's supposed to be a mini-me, but I don't have such a big fringe, nor do I have curly ends. Parting and colour are the only ones that match!
On the road heading up from Newlyn towards the Red Lion pub and to Mousehole, you see this sign as you turn the corner - "save our fish!"
The sign is lit up during the Christmas period and is a constant reminder to where possible buy locally sourced fish and keep the communities active and alive. I second that.
