Help save internet radio, and all the small guys who rely on it for a living. The RIAA is trying to pass legislation that would essentially force internet radio broadcasters to pay fees drastically higher than those of satellite and traditional broadcasters. Yes they are being greedy and paranoid, but lets not let them get away with it.
Music is as wild and varied as any other art form and no government agency should be allowed to eradicate the platform from which some great people broadcast and so many people depend on. Spread the word. Save the music.

Of the family photos I took for a friend, we only managed to get 2 where everyone was looking at the camera and smiling. Of the 2, the flash didn't fire for one and my friend's eyes were closed in the other.
It took about an hour but this is a section from the family photo, before on the left, after on the right.

I took a few macro shots of corks today in hopes to get you all to save the corks for Valencia's foundation that raises funds for student scholarships. I wrote more about it on my blog: www.amandakern.com/blog/2009/10/save-the-corks/
If you're interested in participating here's the info on how you can help donate your corks to help students in need:

Of course you can also donate your corks at Valencia's annual Taste for learning event:
And they're holding a silent auction to help raise funds for student scholarships too:

Ok so this is one of my many attempts to get the Save Polaroid message out there. Kripy were lovely enough to squeeze in a mention of the impending end of Polaroid. Check out this weeks issue on www.kripy.com/.
It really is a bitter sweet love seeing one of my Polaroids on their website/newsletter...
And this is the Polaroid that the editor liked enough to use for the issue :)
