With the help of super teacher Nancy Bires, Hermitage School in Pennsylvania participated in the 2009-2010 cycle of Pennies for the Planet! The students raised more than $1,000 to protect endangered wildlife and wild places--wow!

No better way to describe how I feel right now. There's just so much blood... I wanna bleed out all of the pain and discomfort I'm in...
I just feel really lonely today. I can hardly communicate, and I messed up really badly in a desperate attempt to get my boyfriend to talk to me. With my dad being gone, and my mom working... I just...Man, I don't know what to do to feel better.
On the plus side, I'm down 7 lbs. ^.^
On Saturday, October 20 the 7th Annual Save-A-Limb Ride, Walk and Festival took place at Oregon Ridge Park. Participants took part in a 6, 15 and 30 mile bike ride or a 1-mile family walk. Guests included Chris Horner (Winner of the 2011 Tour of California), Robbie Ventura (Professional Rider and Tour de France Commentator), Earl Cole(winner of Survivor Fiji) and the Maryland Batman!
The money raised from the event will help individuals around the world who experience joint ailments and limb deformities.

The rates of rainforest destruction are 2.4 acres per second, 149 acres per minute, 214,000 acres per day and 78 million acres per year. Just to put things in perspective, as you read this sentence, an area the size of 78 Olympic sized swimming pools would have been cut down.
For this poster I were to chose a cause that I feel passionate about, find an organization that believes fights for it, and create an advocacy poster for it. 'Save the Internet,' is a group for net neutrality, so i used patriotic colors along with the classic golden-age Captain America shield shape to urge the point that freedom on the net should be defended.
