Durante una breve tempesta di sabbia.

In navigazione sul Chungjuho Lake.

In coreano la bandiera viene chiamata Taegukgi e venne disegnata nel 1882 durante il regno dell'imperatore Gojong di Corea da Bak Yeong-hyo, ambasciatore coreano in Giappone.

Gojong proclamò la Taegukgi come bandiera ufficiale della Corea il 6 marzo 1883 e la stessa venne adottata dalla Corea del Sud dopo la seconda guerra mondiale e con la divisione della penisola coreana.

Il simbolismo della bandiera deriva dalla filosofia dello eum yang, con il campo bianco che rappresenta la pace.

Il cerchio rosso e blu è chiamato Taeguk, l'origine di tutte le cose nell'universo, e tiene in perfetto equilibrio i due principi:

il blu rappresenta gli aspetti negativi del Taeguk, mentre il rosso descrive gli aspetti positivi.

Assieme essi rappresentano un movimento continuo nell'infinito, con le due parti che si fondono in una.

I quattro trigrammi sono:

☰ Giustizia celeste (☰; geon = cielo);

☲ Luce (☲; ri = fuoco, sole e yang;

☵ Saggezza (☵; gam = acqua, luna e yin;

☷ Abbondanza (☷; gon = terra).

In Korean the flag is called Taegukgi and was designed in 1882 during the reign of Emperor Gojong of Korea by Bak Yeong-hyo, the Korean ambassador to Japan.

Gojong proclaimed the Taegukgi as the official flag of Korea on March 6, 1883 and it was adopted by South Korea after World War II and the division of the Korean Peninsula.

The symbolism of the flag comes from the philosophy of eum yang, with the white field representing peace.

The red and blue circle is called Taeguk, the origin of all things in the universe, and holds the two principles in perfect balance:

the blue represents the negative aspects of the Taeguk, while the red describes the positive aspects.

Together they represent a continuous movement into infinity, with the two parts merging into one.

The four trigrams are:

☰ Heavenly Justice (☰; geon = sky);

☲ Light (☲; ri = fire, sun and yang;

☵ Wisdom (☵; gam = water, moon and yin;

☷ Abundance (☷; gon = earth).

Una silenziosa speranza

Guardando un cielo come questo, molte sensazioni e pensieri possono sovrapporsi ed intrecciarsi come fili del destino. Sussurri. Segreti. Frustrazioni. Sospiri. Paure. Parole di saggezza. Illusioni. Desideri. Ma, soprattutto, una silenziosa speranza: che il passare del tempo e l'oscurità non possano spazzare via la bellezza intensa di quell'attimo perfetto.
