The ruts in the street were caused by all the wagons and the braking of the wheels by the drivers as they rounded the corners. You see this all over the street in Pompeii, especially near corners and the Roman version of speed bumps.

Rutter Force!
One of the most scenic and easily accessible of all Cumbrian waterfalls. Rutter Force is a horseshoe shaped waterfall on Hoff Beck, near Appleby-in-Westmorland, in the Eden Valley.
Immediately beside the waterfall is an old mill, with a restored waterwheel. The mill is no longer a working mill, but has been converted into holiday accommodation.

Esta mañana mirando desde la ruta hacia el puente "Las Cucharas" se podía ver esta niebla, enfrascada entre los dos cerros.

I haven't been feeling it lately (photography, that is). Maybe too many distractions, lack of sleep or my expectations are too high.
