“We get wise by asking questions, and even if these are not answered we get wise, for a well-packed question carries its answer on its back as a snail carries its shell.”

Rusty was giving this poor mouse a bad time until I intervened. The mouse seemed sick...must have gotten into something that made it ill. Even Rusty lost interest sensing the mouse wasn't quite right.
Another walk at Creamer's Field Wildlife Refuge here in Fairbanks and some new birds.

The Spring Migration Blitz challenges birders to seek and record Rusty Blackbirds during their spring migration northward. How can you help? It’s easy! Search for this elusive species anywhere you want, and report your sightings to eBird using the “Rusty Blackbird Spring Migration Blitz” protocol. Although we encourage birders to search for and report Rusties any time between 1 March and 15 June, our suggested time frame for each state and province provides a guide for when you might expect Rusties to pass through your region.

On our old cedar garden fence that needs to be taken down since in bad shape, built it 40 years ago. Taken through the eye hook that used to be used to fasten the gate shut. Something a bit different for fun.
Boiler house at MassMOCA, the Massachusetts Museum Of Contemporary Art. This rusty gem is safe and legal to photograph, as it's part of the exhibit space at the museum -- which sits in a massive old electronics factory -- and there's no asbestos inside.
