I love all the long drives my husband and I take throughout South Eastern Idaho. This old, but charming beauty greeted us in the small town of Henry.

A rustic autumn scene with pumpkins, lanterns, and pine cones on the ground, set in an outdoor park under soft evening light. The background features trees adorned with orange leaves and lights hanging from them. A path leads into the depth of field, adding to the festive atmosphere. High-resolution photography

This Rustic Handle has been taken for this weeks Macro Mondays theme of 'Handle'. It is from an outside log burner and burns nicely on chilly evenings in our garden. HMM

A rustic entrance greets guests on a Saturday evening.

Illuminated and floating rustic oak leaf. I noticed the water drops but not happy how well I captured them. Still like it. :-)

Shot of a rusty washtub used for burning wood at a camping spot. I'm so looking forward to getting back to Shortts Lake in Brookfield, Nova Scotia with great company and a Corona.

Wishing everyone a fabulous Friday - we made it!! :-)

The Brick walls of historic Como House and the rustic door of somewhere else blended together for Mosaic Montage Monday theme of Rustic. We always associate rustic with old and not so well maintained, which often is not true. I visited Como House for the first time with a friend yesterday after another National Trust Property was closed indefinitely. HMMM

For 121 Pictures in 2021 #81 "Rustic", this is a bait shop alongside the JFK Causeway crossing the Laguna Madre in Corpus Christi, TX. Like most bait shops, this one is on the rustic side, and is on the Padre Island side of the lagoon. It also has a boat ramp into the Packery Channel for those wishing to head out either into the Laguna Madre, or out the Packery Channel to the Gulf of Mexico (this channel is only big enough for small personal boats, and marks the division of Padre Island and Mustang Island).

Chose to treat this photo a bit differently, focusing on the contrast brought by the evening sun. This house looks to be made from old barnwood with wagon wheels and windmills in the yard but very modern looking window and the large HDTV antenna on the roof. Old car and newer car. Taken in Eastern Wisconsin.
