Forget the smooth factory finished loaves of bread, These rustic loaves with their cracked, crusty tops were photographed at the Queen Victoria Markets, Melbourne.
These are Melbourne’s largest and most iconic open-air market, with over 600 stalls of fresh produce, specialty items and non-food products. A major heritage and cultural attraction, it is visited by locals and tourists alike, either shopping for weekly supplies or just soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.
We had a lovely walk around the grounds of Himley Hall and then onto Baggeridge Country Park ....a pleasant day with a little spring Sunshine taking the chill off.Not a lot to photograph of the wider landscape so I focused on a few intimate shots of subjects with in the landscape
A derelict barbed wire fence, once the boarder of a rural farm, lays as a reminder of what once was in the face of Urbanization.
