This rustic cabin is found at the Cradle of Forestry on US 276 in Western North Carolina. I stacked parts of three images with different apertures and focus for this final picture.
I'm starting to work on some of my old shots from 2009 taken in Fredericksburg, Texas.
I'm using Photoshop Elements on my Mac to process an authentic wild west feel...
That olde photo look! Shame about the cars, uh. ;-) More to come - loving Photoshop!

This living room was designed in a brown theme with a touch of a rough and rustic-looking wall. This introduces texture into the space making it feel quite relaxing and calm.
The wooden/timber joinery works on the focal wall complements the textured wall and overall theme colours. The furniture aligns with the design nicely as well. Overall, amazing space.
Glen Creek's "Rustic Falls' - 4.7 miles south of Mammoth on the Grand Loop Road (US 89), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming (44.933735, -110.726109)
Elevation: 7,247 feet
Drop: 47 feet
Found image. Having acquired a rustic summer house I take a particular interest in showing fences and furniture made in similar ways. This family is particularly well equippedl with chairs, tables, an arbour, arches and fences made from twisted wood. Was this a business or the product of a keen amateur? Unfortunately there is nothing on the back of the card to help us out.
This 15m-high waterfall is a few kilometres south of Mammoth on US-89 in the Golden Gate Canyon. It cannot be missed, because it is right by the side of the road and clearly visible when approaching from the north.
It is somewhat unusual as the base of the waterfall appears to be as broad as the fall is tall, giving a very fan-shaped perspective when seen head-on. The falls are on Glen Creek and highlight the bedding planes clearly visible in the rock face on the far side.
Seen in late August when the flow is presumably at its lowest...
The little rustic red door leading into an old Chinese temple within the city limits of Kuala Lumpur, aged with character and story.
Found this great rustic fence, unfortunately the wind was kicking up and the fence was starting to move. On my return trip I think this will look great with some long star trails.
Behold a gallery of weathered metal kettles, perched gracefully upon light blue shelves, kissed by the soft glow of dawn. Their reddish-brown surfaces, etched with the patina of time and rust, whisper tales of bygone days. Amidst this rustic chorus, a solitary teal kettle rises, its vibrant hue a bold serenade against the muted tones. Bathed in natural light, this outdoor tableau dances with history and charm.
On the same block of land the half-church resides is this lovely rustic shed. The owner was tending to horses in the next paddock, unfortunately too far away for my lens. Greendale Victoria. For more information about the location see Red Stilletto's lovely photo. flic.kr/p/25feo4B
