I have no idea.. whatever they really are, I found them years ago and brought them home.

“Rust and Bones” (and some bird poop) – Skin to Bone… Steel to Rust… Ashes to Ashes… Dust to Dust -- I went cruising for pictures on Sunday and found a backroad I never fully checked out before. Hit the Jackpot in this patch of trees, 5 bull skulls, 3 old rust buckets

An old truck sits idle in a backyard at Sofala, NSW.

I'll come clean... this is a section of copper waste pipe that was bonded to cast iron, so technically corroded not rusted, though it does have a rust layer.

The larger of the Rust Spots is about 8 mm across
