On its last legs, literally. Another section collapsed this year, so I thought I'd better get the shot while I could!

The chain is a unit of length equal to 66 feet (22 yards). It is subdivided into 100 links This is the handle and linkage of the chain used many years ago to measure allotment plots.
Sometimes it is not so easy to see past rust. But the mystery here prevails. What is before us is sometimes superficial.

Das Objekt habe ich bei einem Besuch im Natur-Park Südgelände in Tempelhof-Schöneberg gefunden. Ein18 Hektar großer Stadt-Park der sich auf dem frühere Gelände des ehemaligen Rangierbahnhofs und dem ehemaligen Bahnbetriebsgeländes der D-Bahn befindet.
Ein grünes Erholungsgebiet, dass das Südgelände mit dem Park am Gleisdreieck bis zur Potsdamener Straße verbindet.

I found this object during a visit to the Natur-Park Südgelände in Tempelhof-Schöneberg. An 18-hectare city park located on the former site of the former marshalling yard and the former railway operating area of the D-Bahn.
A green recreation area that connects the southern area with the park at Gleisdreieck up to Potsdamener Straße.

J'ai trouvé cet objet lors d'une visite au Natur-Park Südgelände à Tempelhof-Schöneberg. Un parc urbain de 18 hectares situé sur le site de l'ancienne gare de triage et de l'ancienne zone d'exploitation ferroviaire de la D-Bahn.
Une zone verte de loisirs qui relie la zone sud au parc de Gleisdreieck jusqu'à la Potsdamener Straße.

I'm always looking for photo opportunities when I'm exploring. Sometimes I'll see something unique posted on Facebook or Google Earth and try to find it. Other times I'll just drive aimlessly down roads I've never traveled before. This was one of those unexpected finds. Nested between a couple different farms was this old truck in a field that was far from the road. Based on its condition, I imagine that it was put out to pasture many years ago. May it rust in peace!

There are times when I wish I had photoshop, so I could get rid of this car. The background is fine...a nice boat, a sports car and even the weeds look pretty good.
Again, I don’t know what car this is? I know someone will though.
Apparently this is another Jensen. In my defense, it looks nothing like the other little blue sports car convertible with the exhaust in the back seat.
The consensus is that it is a 1975 or 1976 Jensen GT

A small rusted screw and frame by a fence near my house. The fence is made to protect a small pond. Love to walk by there every day to watch birds and to just listen to the silence.
