Even though its working life has now expired and it is parked on the fence line it still has a useful purpose as a business advertisement.
Known by all and sundry the old Toyota has now become and icon of Camden and is now an integral part of the landscape.
Which just proves that you can't keep a good truck down.

Ich found the rusty screw in an old dusty box in the garage. My idea was to put old and new metal (alu) in the scene and at the same time to create a mirroring. I chose turquoise and blue as a color contast for the background.
A detail of a rusted gate of a once proud and busy enterprise. All that is left now is decaying walls, rusting iron, and wild nature.
For Macro Mondays theme of Rust. In one of our Garden beds we have a metal plant markers that have, over the years, become rather rusty. This is the upper portion of the "O" in tomato with some onions providing the green in the background. The "O" from left to right is about 15mm across.

This is a macro shot of our weathered wooden fence. I loved the juxtaposition of the horizonal and vertical wood and the rich textures.
I also liked the way the rusty lug nuts 'popped' against the muted colours of the wood.

An abandoned craft store on the side of Arkansas Highway 23, south of Huntsville, along with the "Hillbilly transport" seen in a B&W upload about 17 days ago (www.flickr.com/photos/80014607@N05/49093193318/in/datepos... ). There was still a few crafty items inside, along with a bit of junk, but it was locked, alas. It looks to have been abandoned for several years.
