An enjoyable morning spent with my mate taking some photos at the South By Five race this morning at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.
I stopped to get a shot of Narada Falls in Mt Rainier National Park when 2 Marmots ran across the road. This was the best one that I got!

This was taken last year at loughborough junction station. When the tube came into the station everyone stopped and stared. We stared and then quickly got our camera out.

Old joints
Running definitely has an expiration date. The old joints can only take so much pounding.
I’m a retired runner, but I quit right after buying new running shoes! They sat, unworn, for a year, but I’m embracing #sneakerlife. They are now running (errands) shoes.
Shirt, Mossimo (thrifted and cropped). Tee, Jinkesi. Legging, Felina. Sneakers, Saucony.

... running along the side of the River Trent in Nottingham. The area behind them is The Hook Local Nature Reserve.
This is a huge table runner I sewed up using about 75 pieces of selvedge. I machine sewed each strip by top stitching it to a piece of white fabric and continually added each selvedge strip over the previous strip and top stitched to the one below leaving about 3/4 of an inch of the printed fabric showing. I backed it using the same white fabric. The top and bottom borders were made from scrap selvedges used in the runner. The colors were positioned from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, brown, black (no purple as I don't have any purple fabric - I guess purple isn't my color!). On the center of the table runner, I used selvedges from my many multi-colored fabrics and positioned them vertically to break up all the horizontal lines.

I guess I gotta buy a bunch of new fabric to build up my selvedge stash again!
