Recently I bought four Indian Runners to join the menagerie and thought they would make excellent subjects for the old Hasselblad. These photos were taken under natural light in a small catching pen with a dark navy cloth in one corner to serve as a blank background. I used a 21mm extension tube to get a 'portrait' of the ducks with a 150mm lens.

As a former runner, I don't understand how, or why, someone runs wearing sunglasses. maybe its me. It probably is.

Not really sure how this guy got up there - I didn't think they could fly that high! Usually I see them, well. Running. On roads.

Lovely summer evening, some strolling home along by the Union Canal, others find it a nice route for jogging.

Saw this lady running a lonely path at Stoney Cross and took the shot in my cars mirror.

When I run I have to concentrate on breathing and making sure my pants don't fall down - smiling never crosses my mind.

Early morning shot at More London.

Shot at the Blue Points 5K in Charlotte, NC on Panther Fan Day.

What a great afternoon spent with Lindsey! This is a road her cross country team trains on, so it felt like the perfect spot to get some "intimidating athlete" images...and the ominous cloudy sky even decided to cooperate.

These Moon Buns are working hard. They've got the "Eye of the Tiger"! They're "Gonna Fly Now"! Reach for those goals little Moon Buns!

A darling gift for someone running (or walking) a marathon or to encourage you to stick to that weight loss program.

I have now posted several cameras in a row from my collection. This is one camera shot from two sides and assembled into one image using Photoshop, with a little pizzazz of colour added to a basically black camera. Photographers like myself, would love to go out and take advantage of the spring weather, but find ourselves in the same predicament as others around the world. Staying home and keeping our distance during this world wide pandemic. I wish everyone well during these unusual and often tragic times.

This offering is the Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) YashicaFlex AS-II, circa 1954. This is the second TLR in the world to have a built in light meter powered by a Selenium photoelectric cell. Its predecessor, the YashicsFlex S introduced in 1953 was the first. The name plate in front is raised to expose the photo cell which creates an electrical charge when exposed to light. Its output of electrical current is connected to an indicator mounted to the side of this camera which gives an exposure value. The light meter on this camera still operates after 66 years.
