The Vancouver Sun Run, sponsored by The Vancouver Sun newspaper, is a 10-kilometre road running event held in Vancouver each year on the third (sometimes the fourth) Sunday in April since 1985. It is one of the largest road races in North America.

I had to check that it was December when I spotted this runner. I was so surprised that my settings for panning were completely out!

These two runners were hosted by Rogue. In this photo they are around mile 5 of the Austin Marathon, running north on the 1st Street bridge.
When I saw them again at mile 20, they were no longer wearing shoes. One had socks, the other was barefoot. They were still running side by side.
