Wadi Rum (Arabic: وادي رم‎) also known as The Valley of the Moon (Arabic: وادي القمر‎) is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southern Jordan 60 km (37 mi) to the east of Aqaba; it is the largest wadi in Jordan. The name Rum most likely comes from an Aramaic root meaning 'high' or 'elevated'. To reflect its proper Arabic pronunciation, archaeologists transcribe it as Wadi Ramm.(wikipedia)

Destileria Caneca was founded in 2012 by Matt Malone and considers itself Miami's first distillery. They use the motto of "sexy, fun, delicious... Miami" as the sentiment behind the product.

Miami Club rum is the flagship product of the distillery. They use a base of Florida sugar cane and use family techniques dating back to 1911 in Puerto Rico to craft the rum.

Miami Club was named Best White Rum in the 2013 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (in a field fo 126 white rums).

Rum, is one of the Small Isles of the Inner Hebrides. For much of the 20th century the name became Rhum, a spelling invented by the former owner, Sir George Bullough, because he did not relish the idea of having the title "Laird of Rum".

Pic of me enjoying a Rum & Tonic on the balcony of my Waikiki timeshare condo *many* years before having kids.

No idea why this is my favourite drink, but it's what my Grandfather drank whilst growing up in the Great Depression.

Info from their website:

Grenada Distillers Limited the island’s best-known and largest distillery and one of the most interesting historical sites. The factory has been in operation since 1937, and is situated in the southern part of the island, in the Parish of St George.

When you arrive you would be welcomed by one of our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides, who would explain our history and all the different processes and stages of making our fine rum. You would learn of the distilling process from sugar cane, syrup and molasses, to rum, and also the aging, blending and bottling processes of making rum. On tour you would also get the opportunity to discover old steam engines, some dating as far back as 1886.

The tour of the factory lasts about fifteen minutes, after which you would be escorted to our Hospitality Center, where you will see our unique Barrel Furniture and an interesting display of the Clarke’s Court products. Last but not least, you are invited to sample our award-winning rums at the sample bar. You would be given recipes on different ways you can mix our rum and truly appreciate the taste of our fine products.

I guess a rum distillery is a must for any visitor to the Caribbean.

This statue of Red Rum, was sculpted by Lady Annette Yarrow and unveiled in August 1979. The statue was financed by public subscription as a tribute to Red Rum who was trained and stabled in Southport.

Red Rum was three times winner of the world’s most famous steeple-chase, the Grand National in 1973, 1974 and 1977.

The statue now resides in Southport’s Wayfarers Shopping Arcade.
