Elegí a la Drta como chibi de Ruby por su parecido con la dal Fiory, especialmente la boquita. La peluca de Miniwoo hizo el resto. De esa tienda saqué la idea de hacer mini yukatas... son muy sencillos y quedan monísimos!
Ruby is a Gloucestershire Old Spots pig who was rescued from a "pastured pork" operation. Even though the pigs get to live outside, runty piglets are still killed. A visitor to the farm offered to take the piglet off the farm's hands and they agreed. She nursed little Ruby back to health and now Ruby lives at Animal Place. She will be spayed and then introduced to the other pigs. She is one cute piglet!!

Lupine Lace in lightweight STR Ruby Slippers. This one replaces the Tanzanite (also lightweight STR) sock I was knitting. The pattern wasn't fitting well as written so after an un-tearful ripping apart, colour change, and pattern modification I've started again.

About to break into her tap-dancing sequence. Go Ruby!
Surviving film at this point must have been a bit grainy, hence the speckly image. Weird to contemplate just how long ago some of these films were made - this one's 74 years old. I remember watching the same year's "Gold Diggers of 1933" back in the '80's with my grandmother when it'll have been only 50 years old. Everyone in this film died of old age years ago. Contemplate yer mortality as you watch cute young Ruby clippety-clopping on the roof of the taxi.
