Class 40 No 40004 (D204) comes down the Colne Valley at West Slaithwaite with the Holyhead RTZ to Humber empty hoppers. Feb 8th 1982.

47290 descends through West Slaithwaite with 6E36 Holyhead RTZ to Humber empty petroleum coke hoppers. 31/1/87. This was the only I time I captured this very rarely-seen working on Standedge in colour.
Class 47/0 47002 had charge of the 6E36 THO 07:54 Holyhead RTZ to Humber OR empty coke hoppers recorded passing Abergele & Pensarn station.

Globe Holidays' YX21 RTZ is leaving Doncaster on service X20 to Barnsley, operated until recently by Powells, Hellaby. It is an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 MMC, new to Johnson, Henley-in-Arden in 2021.

56043 at Holyhead RTZ sidings on Saturday 4th April 1999, on the very late running Humber - Holyhead Petroleum coke working.
56044 stands in Healey Mills Yard with 6E52 0703 Holyhead RTZ - Humber OR empty petroleum coke train on a very cold afternoon on 13th January 1999. The train used to stage here during the afternoon before going forward in the evening. Photo: Ivan Stewart.

BR Class 47/3 47328 powers away from Llandudno Junction with the mid-afternoon 7F10 Speedlink service to Warrington, Walton Old Junction. The first two Ferry Wagon vans contained aluminium billets from RTZ, Anglesey, then a pair of VAA Railfreight vans [explosives] were from Maentwrog Road [Blaenau Ffestiniog] and at the rear there was a discharged fuel tank from Holyhead and empty PCA cement tanks from Bangor.
