25145 passes a permanent way gang near Mirfield Shed bridge with 6E36 Holyhead to Humber RTZ petroleum coke. 16/9/85. The train was usually hauled by Class 47s from the year after this, so well done to Geoff for getting this photo with a Rat at the head.
The Holyhead RTZ to Humber petroleum coke train, while it ran for many years, was a "hit and miss" affair, and I was always pleased to get a photo. Here it glints quite nicely climbing out of Wakefield behind 37695 at Oakenshaw Lane on the evening of the 29th July 1999.

47223 is at the head of the regular, but elusive, 6E36 Holyhead RTZ to Humber Petroleum Coke train at Eastwood. 16th May 1988. I was always glad to get a shot of this working. In those days there was no Freightmaster or Internet and unless one knew a 'box wallah, gen was hard to come by. One went out for trains which you'd seen before at certain times and just hoped for the best!

37517 passes Hebden Bridge with 6E36 07:30 Holyhead RTZ to Humber petroleum coke. 21/4/94. Until I saw this photo, I didn't realize that this working had gone over to Class 37 haulage in the 1990s.
Despite its 'Yorkshire' registration this all-Scania NU230/Omnicity spent its early life in Greater London.
I photographed it in bright sunshine whilst on layover at Jodrell bank Discovery Centre.
