Sidcup's route 51A had several garage journeys scheduled to run from Green Street to Green to Sidcup garage via Ruxley Corner, where RT 4567 is seen approaching. Friday 4th June 1976. 3D-10.

This workcar is a centre hoist with flatbeds on each end to house concrete slab sections that are in place on the Bloor Viaduct. (See "Viaduct Slab" picture)
RT 27 can lift the concrete slab off the viaduct and gently place it on one side of the car & then remove the replacement slab from the other side and insert it on the Viaduct.
RT 27 is a non-powered workcar and must be towed to the work location.
RT80 at Barking was held to commemorate 80 years since the introduction of the RT double deck bus, and 40 years since the last RT bus, departed from Barking Garage.

I followed the GPS and took Rt 939 down toward the east coast of Iceland. It WAS shorter than staying on Rt 1...it was also unpaved and the weather was foggy and rainy. However, the neverending waterfalls made the drive acceptable, if nerve wracking.
A month on from the previous view finds RT 3252 (DS) again on the 449 passing Dorking bus garage. Friday 10th May 1974. S-5.
