As seen on a running day for old buses that once operated in the area.
Busy few days ahead, catch up on Monday.
Shot with the Olympus E-M1 along scenic Vermont Route 100 just outside of Wilmington. RT 100 is, in my view, the longest, most scenic and picturesque route in New England, running from just outside of Massachusetts to the border with Canada.

radio telescope RT-64 (TNA-1500) It's not just huge, it's gigantic! The diameter of the main reflector is 64 m, the diameter of the secondary mirror is 6 m, the total weight is 3800 tons. The main research areas are: spectral radio astronomy, pulsar physics and pulsar astrometry, studies of galactic and extragalactic objects, and radiointerferometry with extra-long bases. In the observatory on a permanent basis employs 10 employees. The mirror can be rotated horizontally by 360 degrees, and vertically by more than 90 degrees. .The center in Kalyazin is a branch of the Center for Space Communications "Bear Lake". At 17 km from Moscow, in an area called Bear Lake, an identical radio telescope is located. Both radio telescopes are informationally related to each other and can be considered as a single complex..In 1983-84, RT-64 received radar data and a thermal map of the planet Venus, then participated in the Vega programs (1986), when the images of Halley's comet were taken, and Phobos (1988-89)..Of the 11 radio telescopes that existed at that time in the world, more than 60 m in diameter, three were located in Russia. In the severe 90-ies on RT-64 radio-astronomical studies were carried out without funding, by the efforts of several scientific institutes and staff of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute. The main thing is that these unique and beautiful global structures have survived to the present day and continue space research.

Die Reutlinger Marienkirche habe ich hier schon mehrfach
abgeknipst - aber der Blick hinauf zur Langhausdecke war bis her nicht dabei. Wir können erkennen daß dies eine Basilika ist. Überall sind Spitzbögen - also kann man annehmen, daß das Gebäude aus der gotischen Epoche stammen müsste.
Rechts auf der neogotischen Empore: die Orgel; gleichfalls neogotisch. Links oben der Schalldeckel der Kanzel ist auch eine Zutat aus der Neugotik. Man könnte nun verleitet werden die goldenen Plättchen überall an der Decke als Mosaike zu sehen. Dies sind aber Korkplättchen. Sie dienen zur Verbesserung der Akkustik der Kirche und wurden bei der Renovierung durch Heinrich Dolmetsch in den Jahren 1893 - 1901 angebracht.
Insgesamt gesehen einer der Höhepunkte der schwäbischen Gotik!

La EU43-001 di RTC è qui ripresa in transito nei pressi di Novale di Vipiteno (BZ), al traino di un intermodale da Hannover-Linden per Verona Quadrante Europa.
RTC EU43-001 is seen here near Novale di Vipiteno, on the Brenner line, whilst working a southbound intermodal service from Hannover to Verona Quadrante Europa.
Before the bus station was built in Chingford (1970) the buses terminated a little further up the road to the Royal Forest Hotel (in the background here). There were many routes, and this class of bus would have been seen in numbers here.
Now, once a year, a few restored examples return to where they once ran.

A different view of the London bus RT class, which were on the streets of London from the 1940s to 1979 in service.
De locale RT.80.01 ( ex NMBS HLR 8020 ) komt de steengroeve van Lessen buiten gereden met 2 platte wagens.
Deze wagens worden in de bundel geplaatst waar ze later op de dag , samen met andere ballast wagens , werden opgepikt door een Infrabel trein.

Something I did in the last few days of 2016. Just getting around to posting it.
Yet another variant of an AT-RT, after I've done several already.
I've seen a lot of builders use those neck brackets for building robots, so I thought I'd give it a shot on a walker. The legs are the hardest part on these things... I think it turned out okay. I also decided to keep the use of droid bodies for the feet, similar to my previous model.
