As seen on a running day for old buses that once operated in the area.
Busy few days ahead, catch up on Monday.
yet another view of the green hillsides on either side of this connector road. I always look forward to this part of the drive when we go to visit in Southern California. Photos are just approximations of how immersive these gentle rolling natural sculptures are.

To finish out the year and allow me to finish some other projects, I present my 2022 AT-RT design.
With this rendition, I have attempted to capture the details of the Battlefront II (2017) AT-RT design as accurately as possible using a wide variety of parts from LEGO's history. This has been a very long, ongoing project for me and I hope people find something in it to differentiate it from the other fantastic builds by those tagged, whose work has continually inspired me to improve my designs over the years.
I would also like to thank www.flickr.com/photos/190128811@N07 and www.flickr.com/photos/186300665@N06 for the constant feedback throughout the process.
I already have ideas for some improvements, although those will have to wait until next year's iteration....
BL Wanted List is available for free, although the cost of parts + shipping in the US is ~$70 USD. This is a very finicky model with very unconventional techniques and is only intended for display.
P.S. If you noticed the screwdriver looks a little weird, that's cause it is! I promise I do have DBG screwdrivers in my collection (so I'm not completely faking it) but I was not able to have them on hand when photographing this build.
Before the bus station was built in Chingford (1970) the buses terminated a little further up the road to the Royal Forest Hotel (in the background here). There were many routes, and this class of bus would have been seen in numbers here.
Now, once a year, a few restored examples return to where they once ran.

North of Uniontown, Pa. This is the front of what was most likely an old school. This view faces Pittsburgh Street. I posted the shot below of the side which got some information on the history of the building. I thought that it had most likely been demolished by now (2024) but see that it shows up on Google Street Side in 2020, very abandoned but intact.
The 4th of January there is something to see; kind of spontaneous collaborative exhibit. I'll show a mini series about a bridge over the Danube River and the people around, called "Nordbahnbrücke". Drop by @Galerie Lumina ...

On rail replacement duty, not its usual Epping run. The London bus of my childhood. Wonderful buses.

Another older build of mine. Based on the Battlefront II version of the AT-RT, and the feet are inspired by cypiratemocs.
Soli Deo Gloria and happy building,
