RT 4777 passes through Redhill during the 1980 HCVC London to Brighton rally. Sunday 4th May 1980. 342.
In July 1950, four RTs (1692, 1702, 3070 & 3114) were loaded on board a steamer at Hull en route to Scandanavia, on the first leg of an ambitious tour through seven European countries to publicise the Festival of Britain which took place in 1951. Each vehicle on its return to Britain carried a GB plate and special commemorative interior plaque. One of the four, RT 3114 (PR) stands at Poplar Baths on the 277A. Wednesday 26th February 1975. 2H-2.

The Rivoli Theater opened in 1917 and became the Ritz in the 1930s. After showing regular fare for a few decades, it switched to pornos in 1966 until its closure circa 1980-1982. It was the Masquerade nightclub for about twenty years and now it's a concert and banquet hall.
